If you’re on the hunt for the perfect travel backpack then LOOK NO FURTHER. THIS IS THE ONE. Hear me out. This backpack doesn’t look too big and doesn’t feel too big, but has a surprisingly large capacity! I’m able to fit a decently sized sketchbook, pencil case, book, makeup bag, phone, passport, snacks, etc. and it doesn’t feel too stuffed at all. I could probably fit even more if I tried. The adjustable straps feel very sturdy and comfortable. The zippers are very smooth and good quality. I feel confident that my belongings will be safe in here while walking around the city. Not sure why this product isn’t reviewed more. It’s a PHENOMENAL mini-backpack. It was EXACTLY what I was looking for—a well-designed backpack that was 1/3 smaller than a regular “laptop/school” backpack. Something just large enough for me to fit a stainless steel water bottle, small external batteries, my iPad Pro 2021 11”, wallet, keys, charger, and a few other nicknacks for the day. It’s amazing. It’s elegant. It’s sturdy. I’m surprised how much room is in there despite its seemingly “small” dimensions. All the pocket compartments were VERY thought through. You know how some backpacks are just full of inner pockets that, at the end of the day, don’t really fit anything useful? Well, this backpack has just a few compartments inside, but are perfectly sized for most everything you’re going to put in. And the quality, I gotta say, was very impressive. The stitching and overall craftsmanship is emaculate. The backpack is environmentally-conscious, made of recycled water bottles. The straps are like seat-belts (similar to the strength of the Swiss-made Freitag backpacks), extremely, extremely durable. And did I mention the strong stitch work? The seams are sturdy and do not look like they’ll come apart within a few travel trips. This backpack looks like it’ll take a beating. There is ZERO use of velcro—THANK GOODNESS. All closures are either zippers, buttons, magnetic, and/or really well sewn. No cheap tricks. Lastly, the materials are stiff enough that the backpack RETAINS its shape—it doesn’t end up looking like a sad sack (hate that) w/ your week’s grocery inside. You can carry it like a backpack or hold the straps like a briefcase, it’s wonderful. Took it out a for a day and I approve, so far. ... show more

Oh my, this bag rocks. Perfect size for everyday and day travel. Rich color, great fabric-with luxe lining, well designed, lightweight, roomy interior pockets- one zips, one open for-tablet/iPad. Zippers sturdy, slide easily and can be locked. Structured- holds its shape, secure attractive durable stitching and handles. Comfy straps, not bulky or tugging, classic styling with, of course anti- theft. I’m impressed with this bag! (I first had Kipling and then PacSafe- I like this the best!) *Update-Straps were comfy when I tried on with a light jacket- tried on later with just a shirt, as warmer weather is coming-buckles on the straps dug into my shoulders. Tried using pads, but being a small person the buckles hit right on my shoulder bones- pads didn’t work. Sadly, had to return. ... show more

I got this for the security features. Zippers are hidden and can be “locked” somewhat. The brand’s tag on the front does, imo, detract from an otherwise nice looking bag. It’s not easy to remove.

Took it all over Scotland and then some! I bought it as a sturdy secure bag that I could romp around in with an afternoons necessities on adventures. I could easily fit my personal stuff, a water bottle, two sandwiches, assorted snacks like fruits and nuts, a small sketch pad, art roll, and often a pair of gloves. It just always seems to be able to accommodate whatever I need to put in it! It's really wonderful but still small, and I keep using it was a daily bag, hahaha! ... show more

I’m 5’2 so I struggle finding backpacks that don’t look too bulky or big for me. This one is stylish and anti theft which is what I needed for my upcoming summer vacation. There is a flap over the zipper that prevents quick access but you can flip that to the other side when you are not worry about theft and need to be going into your bag a lot. No water bottle holder on outside but that’s not a deal breaker for me. The bag fit my my IPad with no issues. Probably, couldn’t fit a laptop so you would need to get the bigger version if you need that. Overall no issues and I’m excited to use it for Europe. ... show more

I have other Travelon items and love them. Wanted something for day excursions on an upcoming trip and this looked promising, but there is no place for a water bottle so I returned it. Should have paid more attention when I was buying it.
