I bought this for a European rail tour. Worked perfectly! Used it as a cross-body for convenience & security purposes. It was big enough to carry my wallet, passport, cell phone accessory battery and I was even able to roll up my rain jacket or add a few snacks or souvenirs. I was able to easily access my passport or wallet and the additional zipper compartments kept my chap stick, disinfecting wipes & eye drops handy. Since I had my cell phone on a lanyard I could even drop it inside to release the weight of my phone on my neck. I was able to do the same with the VOX radio device that the tour guides spoke to us through as that too was on a lanyard. The strap was wide so it was comfortable across my shoulder. Since it was smaller than a traditional backpack it wasn't too heavy to have to have on all day. Contents stayed dry even when I got caught in a downpour. It’s a nice bag and the size is great for a daypack, but there is no way to shorten the back straps. It comes with the straps at their shortest length. If there was a way to adjust, I would have kept the bag. Unfortunately it is not functional. It just hangs off me,

This is a nice compact travel backpack/purse. I put my 16 oz water bottle in the side. The only thing it does hang a bit low on my back. If the straps could be adjusted a bit smaller or the zipper would be able to lock to help it sit higher would be nice. The I like the fact that I can use it as a crossbody or a backpack. It does have a way to lock the zippers. I did fit my 12" tablet in, but couldn't zip it completely shut. It will handle a smaller tablet no problem. Plenty of interior pockets. This was less than a third of the price and just as attractive and well made as the other two at less than 1/3 the cost with all the same anti theft features. It fit 2 bottles of water, a travel umbrella and a lightweight cardigan - along with some other small necessities. I love that the straps can be zipped together and separated.
