It is a lightweight Backpack that folds into its own zippered interior pocket for storage and travel but opens to a full-sized backpack. It features a locking main compartment with a RFID blocking pocket with a Velcro closure that keeps your identity secure from high-tech electronic readers and it is deep and roomy to carry a plethora of items. A locking front compartment is great for frequently needed items. Anti-Theft features like slash-resistant bottom and front panels will keep your belongings safe and secure from slash- n-grab thieves. Two mesh expansion pockets are perfect for a water bottle, umbrella, sunglass or sunblock. I bought this backpack for a Mediterranean cruise and visit to Rome. I poured over articles and reviews for anti-theft backpacks and went with this one with fingers crossed. I like that it zips up small when not in use. The safety features of the zipper pulls attaching to the hook are great. I never worried that anyone would be able to get into my bag without me knowing. One review I read didn't like that there wasn't "structure" to the bag but that was one thing I did like. I was able to put so much more in the bag because it wasn't stiff. On the plane for a 9 hour flight I had an inflatable pillow, blanket, slippers, emergency medical supply bag, laptop w/charger, medicine bag, phone charger, ziploc of snacks, sleep mask, change of clothes, compression socks, AirPods and 2 reusable water bottles. I never worried that the shoulder straps couldn't handle the weight. The bag was comfortable to wear on my back and front (on the Metro). The only issue I have is with the mesh side pockets. By the end of 12 days I had a small hole in the bottom of the mesh on one side of the bag - the side and put in and took out my water bottle multiple times a day. If those mesh pockets were the same material as the rest of the bag I think it would hold up better. That is the only reason I didn't give this bag 5 stars. ... show more

The fact that it folds back up for packing into carry-on luggage was one of the best features along with locking zippers. I'm using this on a trip that is coming up and tried about four other bags/backpacks before keeping this one. The size is perfect for me (5'2") and will hold just enough for a long plane ride without having to dig into my carry on. Bought this backpack for a trip to Europe. Within the first week it had a small hole in one of the waterbottle holders, this grew to a fairly big hole by 2nd week. Had to sew it shut so it wouldnt get bigger. Very disappointed with this part but love the clips that keep the backpack closed.

The size is great and I liked the light even weight on my back instead of a purse pulling on one shoulder, but the security features are lacking. I went all over Scotland with no problems, but less than an hour on the street in Dublin and some girl had the top open. Only someone else alerting me that she was in my bag kept her from getting away with my things. I never felt a thing, never had a clue she was that close. I had all the zippers and clasps closed up tight, but it didn't matter. Next time, I'll get a backpack with a pocket on the body side of it that will be harder for someone else to get to. ... show more
