Not sure what all the negativity is all about. But this bag is perfect! Just the right size. It is small but can pack a lot of stuff. There are rfid card holders inside. Also has a zippered compartment inside to put your lipstick and make up etc and pockets to put your your earbuds etc. It also has a hook to hook your keys to so you wont loose it. Or your your coin purse. Also good that the zipper goes all the way to the back for more security. If anyone tried to open the zipper you definitely will know. It has a security hook that is safe and slash proof. You can unhook the strap and hook it to a chair to secure your bag while eating in a restaurant. The strap is very comfortable. It does not slash your shoulders. Nor does it dig in when carrying the back pack. It has a zippered pocket outside so you can put your kneenex or lysol wipes or anything that is not valuable as the outer pocket does not have a secured zipper which maybe is one one that could have been added. The design is nice, not unlike the old travelons I have owned that is just olive or red or plane black. I wish travelon made more neutral colors like white or beige or cream though. This bag is absolutely incredible!! I was debating whether to purchase this or the Travelon slim backpack and I definitely made the right choice. This bag is super cute and I can feel comfortable walking around my city without worrying about anything happening. The material is very nice. It feels great and is flexible and not stiff (I don’t like super structured bags, I prefer ones with just enough to keep it looking nice). It fits everything I could need. I wish there were a water bottle pocket like the other one I was considering, but there is enough room for that inside for me. I just took this on a trip and it was perfect for the plane. Stylish backpack, and has safety zipper closure on the main compartment, but the shape is a little awkward. Since the zipper dips down into the front, the height of the bag is significantly reduced considering items you might store inside. One other downside is the straps can dig into your shoulders uncomfortably. There’s anti slash straps to prevent theft, but the padding is not nearly enough to keep the bag from slashing you! I typically got bruising after wearing it all day, plus I tend to pack heavy so that didn’t help. If you tend to pack light or aren’t using it for more than a couple hours at a time, then you might not experience this downside. That aside, this bag is great for traveling, I feel safest using this backpack purse compared to others, and it’s my go-to for that reason. I even got a matching crossbody because I like the design, and trust this brand when it comes to its safety features. ... show more

I get compliments on how beautiful it is & when I point out the safety features if it cwas a commission job I'd be rich! As you can see it xarries my large sunglasses case, shopping bags, a hairbrush, etc. Love this bag.

Got this for my wife, who has experimented with a few backpack-style purses. This is her favorite so far -- not too big but holds all her stuff, two straps, some security features, nice-looking style and colors. It's just big enough to hold a standard water bottle. I have a bunch of Travelon bags, as they're my go-to for my international trips (several per year). This is the first bag thst I receive that is slashed. The secure zipper closure is also pesky. Not the best zipper. Unfortunately, I leave in a couple of days for theee months, so I can't get a replacement on time, and I can't make it to the post office for a return due to scheduling conflict.
