The scissors are great! I'm always losing my scissors, but I ordered these, removed the belt clip, and I keep them in a holster on my belt with my knife, multi tool, and flashlight. The fold up ease, cut like a dream, and better than the little spring loaded things that come in a folding knife. The fit in the same size holster as my multi tool. They take a little time to get used to, but I pull them out and use them daily. I've had them a while and haven't had to tighten the screws yet. The work like a full size pair of scissors, which is why I didn't want to get those mini folding sewing scissors. My only 2 complaints is that they don’t lock in the closed position and that they are pretty tight for using the scissors. Other than that I’m very happy with them! Good quality and nice looking.

Very high quality considering the price, but not as sturdy and precise as the original Raptors. They have a small amount of play when open which the raptors do not, but are so close in their design that the original Leatherman Raptor case fits them perfectly. I’m not sure I’d trust these as my primary emergency shears, but they now live in my workshop as a secondary pair for everyday use while my Leatherman Raptors sit in my emergency kit. ... show more

I work at two level 1 trauma centers and these shears have performed well over the last several months, on par with my coworker's leatherman shears. The differences in quality are minimal, and not worth the extra money. They will cut through leather, clothing, and misc items around the house without missing a beat. I cannot comment about the longevity of these shears since I have had them for a few months, but I'd argue you're likely to lose them before you wear them out, and you can buy 2-3 of these for the price of the leatherman raptors. I have not had any issues with these shears getting jammed when folding them open from their compact position, nor have I had issues with them closing on my hands while they are open and cutting. These are secure, solid, and affordable. They are compact and sit in my scrub pockets at all times and are always handy to have when SHTF suddenly working in the emergency department vs. cheaper traditional shears which tend to grow legs and disappear when its time to expose someone. ... show more

these are so nice! they can cut through just about anything and all the little side pieces are so great. used the seat belt cutter on a hard plastic edge that I couldn’t get off a mirror and it fixed my issue in half a second. I use them at work constantly and then just fold them back up and put them in my pocket. I will say they are HEAVY so putting them on a badge reel is out of the question but I don’t mind that even though that’s the main reason I got them. ... show more
