Bought the scabbard to protect my rifle on my Colorado elk hunt. The case came well packaged and in great shape. It seems very well built sturdy and durable. My Savage 110 fits perfect it has a 28’ barrel and 50mm scope. Had plenty of room. The hunt is not until October so if I have any issues I will readdress then.

This scabbard is exactly what I needed. I have a browing a bolt medallion, 300 win mag, with a vortex viper 6-24/50 scope, big turrets, and a bipod on it plus a 2 inch long muzzle brake on it. My gun is LOOONNNGGG! I was very concerned that this scabbard would work for my long elk gun. Well it worked just fine. I have to stuff the gun in there pretty hard, and then it will just barely clear the bottom corner of the stock when I zip it up, but it will zip up. The only issue I have had thus far is my scope has exposed turrets, and I noticed that when I'm stuffing it in the scabbard, its rolling my windage turret. That is not good, but I don't know how to solve this issue. I am leaving my gun stuffed in there so hopefully it will stretch and mold to fit it better.

For those of you wondering about fit like myself, this is what a Remington 700 BDL .270 Win with 4-12X40 looks like in this scabbard, obviously plenty of room. Rifle with the green lament stock is a Ruger 7mm MAG with muzzle break, still plenty of room. I’ll edit the review after my hunting trip to inform on its performance but so far I’m impressed
