I bought this product in December to carry around a few books for my RPG sessions that meet once per week. The backpack had maybe 3 books in it plus some notebooks, pens, and papers. I only used it once per week (the one day I went to the store to play my games) so its not like I used it a lot. Yesterday, I got to the store and took the bag out of my car, slung it over my shoulder and heard a huge ripping sound. I took the bag off my shoulder to see what happened and the bag had torn apart at the shoulder strap, leaving an opening in the bag near the top. Thankfully it wasn't raining so my books wouldn't get wet, but this bag is now useless and it can't go on my shoulder and has a huge hole in it near the top so any rain would get in and ruin the stuff inside. I've had backpacks I bought for $5-10 before last YEARS (I still have one from when I was in college 15 years ago)...this bag is absolutely not worth the purchase. Buy a different one or you'll be looking for a new backpack not long afterwards. ... show more

This is an inexpensive back pack. I used it to hold dog/cat food on a trip. It is not very durable, but functions well enough. How long it will last with use? Probably not long. Better for storage than daily use. I may switch it to my emergency bag that so rarely gets used/opened/moved, but just needs some containment of items. I can imagine kids destroying this quickly - it is only single layer nylon. It's exactly what you pay for, cheap price, quickly made simple product. ... show more
