Although I am a Vine member, I purchased and paid full price for the item. This item can be internally powered by 4 AAA batteries OR by connecting to a computer via USB (which is necessary if the RFID FOB is encrypted). The package includes 2 sets of RFID FOBs and 5 RFID cards for duplication purposes depending on frequency, and software for encryption recognition. It will scan the original FOB or card, identify the frequency and any encryption, permitting duplication. Super Simple to use. Works on ICD (dumb) and ICC (chipped) FOBS. Duplicated my ICC (Smart) fob fast and perfect. Although it reportedly works on encrypted smart cards, I did not test that feature.
