I did these on my daughter's hair & they were so easy. I was very pleasantly surprised. Before purchasing the Toyotress brand, I purchased some from the beauty supply store thinking they would be easy to install after watching a YouTube tutorial. I'm no hair expert, just a mom trying to find a cute & easy style for my daughter. The beauty supply butterfly locs were stiff. The loops were way too small & the ends were way too wide to fit through the loops. No shade to beauty supply stores...I shop at them all the time, but that particular brand(outre) was awful, as far as their crochet butterfly locs. I saw a YouTuber using this brand so I decided to buy it & I'm so glad I did. After doing my daughter's hair I purchased a pack for myself & the install was so simple. The media could not be loaded. Ok so I’m going to be extremely honest: Im not used to getting my hair done, I’ve had one style for the past…idk….75.3/4 years of my life 😅 So to get these installed was difficult for me to handle. 1. They do get heavier the more you installed, I did my have 2 packs left over & I have a pretty big head 😂(more of an oblong shaped face 🤷🏽♀️) 2. The quality is awesome and they’re EASY asf to install. 3. Definitely wash and condition your hair before you install it, it’s softer and feels nicer against your skin. 4. It Doesn’t have any smell coming out of the package. 5. This a GREAT product for quality, texture, functionality & overall appearance! 6. LONGGGGG STORY short, if you’re a beginner whose never really did anything to there hair, don’t try and use too many locs, use a bit less so it doesn’t feel so heavy(I literally had these in my head for about an hour before I yanked them out 😬) ***make you find the right person to install it also, that’s VERY IMPORTANT*** Good luck! 🤍🤍🤍

I really liked this hair. It came with 8 packs of hair( 10 strands in each package, color T27)... The distressed butterfly locs in the packages I received were cute and beefy, and yet so light. I recieved so many compliments with my faux locs. One issue however was that many of the loops were small and so it was a little difficult to get the hair through the loops making them a little bit time consuming to install.. Other than that, you should definitely try out these faux locs. I also purchased these a second time in a different color (T30). The locs in these packages were a little smaller and I noticed that the loops were an adequate size and this install was much easier. I understand that these locs are individually hand crafted which makes them so unique.

It turned out great. It isn't the softest crochet locs out there but if you use a bit of product on it that will help. Not heavy on my head but still not the lightest, you can feel it's density. My hair stylist didn't have any issues while installing it. It does snag a bit with itself and so the texture is a bit rough. I had bought another color with this and since I installed it decided to buy another set so all in all I would recommend.

Love this color! My real hair is colored and is like a 4 but you can't tell as long as your roots have grown out a tiny bit. This hair being ombre makes it look darker in some lighting and vibrant in others. Not heavy hair but I've had lighter. If you use the rubberband method make sure to leave it a little loose at the root they're a little chunky. I have a big head so I used 7 of the 8 packs. I've gotten lots of compliments even though I just installed it. If you've been thinking about trying some color do it, it's gorgeous 🥰 Washed the hair ( in my washing machine on light wash lol) and I've NEVER reused my crochet hair but it held up so well and I loved the color so much that I couldn't help it 5 stars +
