I love a mid-rise jean! I'm 5'5" and the jeans (uncuffed) hit right at the bottom of my ankle. They arrived cuffed and I was pleased to find that they didn't have a stitch at the cuff so I have the option to wear them cuffed or uncuffed. I usually wear a 12 or 14 in jeans - I ordered a 14R and I could have gone down to a 12 because they have a little stretch in them. After the recommended cold water wash (inside out) I wore these all day on a very active volunteer day and they held up well and were very comfortable. They kept their shape and were super comfortable to wear. They're a mid weight denim straight leg - very flattering. I have a feeling these will become my go to pair of jeans and definitely a favorite in my closet. The jeans I ordered are a dark shade of denim with just a slight whisker.
