Overall the kit is decent, parts fit good. However vheck to make sure all hardware is there as i was missing 2 carriage bolts that i just went and purchased to do the install. I would also chase all the threads on all hardware. The nuts would not tighten on bolts unless i chased the threads. They would bind to the point that i broke a section of thread off a u-bolt. I would just say the manufacturing of the hardware kit is poor quality. Other than that eveything is good.

I installed the air bags on my 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 to improve the ride and handling while traveling with my slide in camper. It took about 2 hours to install them on the rear axle, which can be done entirely without raising the truck. The bags can be deflated to help reduce size and aid in positioning them for installation. They came with all the necessary hardware, and dispite reading numerous other reviews that said hardware was often missing, the kit was 100% complete. Pay attention to the instructions where it talks about the exhaust heat shield. If not properly installed and angled just right, you will be forced to remove them for readjustment. They easily hold air for days without issue. I routed the fill hoses to my back bumper and use a small pump to inflate them. They require very little air, even a bicycle pump could work to fill them in a pinch. I'm amazed at the improved ride quality and steering response, and feel these are well worth the money!

Although I am not done with the install, DO NOT USE the supplied nuts for the u-bolt/ saddle nor the other carriage bolts. The supplied nuts are locking nuts however, they are not the correct nuts and will break the much needed bolts. I had 2 inches of thread until tight and had a 1/2 inch drive socket ratchet with a 12 inch socket wrench and it was tight. I switched to my pneumatic impact and it snapped the bolt within about 3 threads showing. I will go and get different nuts but whatever you do, dont use the supplies nuts. I am a mechanic with 40 years of experience and never ran into something this bad. I hope the air bags will operate as intended but as stated, if you buy this product do not use the suppled nuts.

This is a quality product, however putting it in took more than four hours. It took almost 6!! My husband is a mechanic and also a semi truck body technician so he knows his way around track and knows what he’s doing with this product! It took him over six hours to get this situated under the truck correctly. Please have patience and make sure you’re reading the directions before you start.

I agreed to be the equipment hauler for my son’s football team, not knowing how large and heavy the trailer would be. I have the HEMI, and the HD suspension, but the trailer proved to be a little much for a 1500…until I installed the helper springs. 55lbs of pressure and it’s back to straight and level.

Missing alot of bolts, had to go purchase self tapping bolts as kit only came with two, only had enough bolts for one side and the washers came damaged, easier to just buy better quality bolts than deal with returns and possibly getting another kit not fully packed

Super easy to install. But the quick connects for the air lines are leaking air. All 4 had leaks were the air line connects into fitting I had to buy new ones.
