I have been a customer of Amazon for over 20 years. I am kind of anti-social, so I don't write many reviews. This product just really made me mad. 1) A decent amount of packing material was used, however every piece of Styrofoam was broken into many pieces. 2) According to the instructions, a shelf that comes with the item was supposed to be inside the bottom tool chest. It wasn't, it was loose in the shipping box. That item was heavily damaged with edges bent and distorted. Also, around the top of one of the holes on the shelf, the finish as missing and that area was rusty with a streak of rust material running a couple of inches along the edge. Obviously this could not have happened during shipment. 3) Oh my god the instructions were the worst. A) The instructions said to open the lower tool chest and lift/remove the upper chest, for that is where it was stored for shipment. It took me several minutes of trying to lift it out before I turned the damn thing over and discovered I had to remove 4 screws before I could lift it up and out. No mention of that in the instructions. B) In order to attached the wheels, a washer, lock washer and nut are required. The directions make no note of the order. Does the bolt get a washer first, then through the wheel assembly, then the frame, then the locking washer and finally the nut? Or does the washer go on the frame side? Or does the washer go on the bolt after it goes through the wheel assembly? The instructions don't provide that information. C) Needed 16 nuts to attach the wheels. Bag of parts was missing 1 nut, and 1 nut was not made correctly and wouldn't thread. 3) The description of the item at Amazon says that the top chest is detachable. It doesn't say that it doesn't attach at all, it just rests on the top of the lower tool chest. Not what I was expecting. 4) Time will tell, but much of the metal seems cheap and thin. 5) I contacted Torin customer service, and the asked me to send pictures of the damaged shelf. If a new shelf and screws don't arrive with in 21 days after I purchased the item, I will send it back to Amazon or just ask for my money back. Update: After a week, finally got a e-mail from customer service. Said 10 weeks for a replacement to damaged shelf to arrive. Even though mentioned in 4 separate e-mails, no mention of replacements for missing and misthreaded nuts for attaching wheels. Called Amazon an got a refund. ... show more

It does do the job. It's small and doesn't hold an excessive amount of tools but if you have a smaller tool collection it'll be great!!

I will say one normally gets what one pays for. In my opinion it was worth the cost, meaning if I wanted a $400 toolbox, I would have bought one. As I said, this meets my needs at a price I could afford. Arrived packed well and no damage. Also, very easy to assemble.

Had a lot of dings and dents on it, doesn’t quite sit right either. The top piece was screwed into the cabinet which was difficult to flip and get out. The whole thing was much smaller than anticipated and due to the weight the bottom was damaged during unboxing.
