In 1925, Rinaldo and Ezilda Torre visited family in Lucca, Italy. The two returned home to their native San Francisco with something very important: handwritten recipes, which they used to create authentic flavored syrups. These syrups helped Rinaldo and Ezilda reintroduce the Italian soda to their neighborhood. Years later, our syrup was used to create the world’s first flavored latte! We’ve remained a family-owned company -- adhering to the high quality standards that Rinaldo and Ezilda set nearly 90 years ago. Each and every syrup, sauce, and smoothie is created with care and pride. That’s a promise from our entire family -- including the more than 100 members that make up the Torani team. We started with just five syrups. Today, you can use more than 100 of our naturally flavored syrups, sauces and beverage bases in coffees, sodas, teas, smoothies, cocktails and more. Very strong cinnamon flavor so you don’t need that much, which is great. It’s got a little hint of spice (like real cinnamon) which surprised and impressed me. I put powder cinnamon in my coffee grounds and then also add this because I’m crazy for cinnamon. I add a little sugar free vanilla syrup for complexity with oatmilk creamer. YUM 😋 ... show more

Huckleberry is my favorite! It’s very rare and hard to come by. So when I saw this I had to get. It’s amazing. Perfect for Italian soda’s, ice cream, and even flavoring baked goods and icing. It’s very thick and rich. It is very sugary though, I I can’t have it daily.

    • Great Flavor But Very Weak

I will preface this by saying I was searching for a product similar to the Arabic rose syrup my family uses for summer drinks. Our local Arabic store has been out of it for a while so I looked online. That syrup is thick like honey and I would mix a tablespoon into a tall glass of water and ice for a nice refreshing rose concoction. First of all let me say this product came in a beautiful glass bottle and was extremely well wrapped and well presented. I use other Torani products to flavor my coffee sometimes so I was hesitant at first to try this based on my experience (being watery and more for secondary flavor profiles, even though the flavors are delicious) but the reviews really swayed me. I tasted a drop plain initially and the flavor was in fact the delicious kind of rose, not the artificial, perfume-y or cloying kind. I was very hopeful! The consistency is the same as water though, and even though I added 2 tbsp (double what I usually use) to half the amount of water, I could barely taste the flavor at all. It's like my water went to the other room and briefly thought about roses and came back. This won't work for cold drinks like I wanted unless I make it maybe 50-50 concentration and it's also too super sweet to do that. I did use some with my matcha latte the other day and it was pretty good, I imagine it would be great in other drinks where the drink itself lends some flavor as well. Anything that could blend with the rose syrup well, but also provides its own taste profile. This syrup is great as an accent flavor or complementary flavor, but as a standalone I found it very lacking. ... show more

Great syrup! I mix it with the Torani strawberry or cherry syrups, add a little sprite, lemonade and ice !! Good price and well wrapped and sealed!
