This tastes like your hopes and dreams being crushed.. If you enjoy that sort of thing, you will love this. When you pour it in, it smells amazing, like heaven raining down.. glorious wonderful smell, like WOW.. is this really happening? I get to have delicious coffee? WITHOUT SUGAR? no way.. then you bring it to your mouth, and purse your lips to the cup, ready for that wonderful glorious goodness.. then BAM.. barf. all the barf.. it tastes like old socks. Like little gnomes crawled into your kitchen last night after running around in your garden, then decided bathing in your torani Caramel syrup sounded like a good time, so they hopped right in, basking in their own stinky ambiance, then rung out their socks into it when they were done. There is literally nothing that tastes like caramel in this bottle. nothing. Torani- you are a crusher of dreams.

Flavor Name: Sugar Free Vanilla

Recently, they changed the formula on the Sugar Free Vanilla Syrup I've been using for years. Initially, it just seemed to be a bit less flavorful than normal. I figured they must be having some kind of issue with over-dilution, noting that we were having to use more than we ever have before, in order to achieve the same result. After about a month, it finally occurred to me to check the label and I noted that "Vanilla Extract" had been replaced by "Natural Flavors". Well, that would explain it. I conducted a little experiment to see if this might be the reason for the flavorless syrup, by adding a tiny bit of real vanilla extract to my coffee. Sure enough, it tasted the way it always has. So, this product, which usually costs around twenty-five dollars per case, now costs ten dollars more per case and has to be used at a rate of about one and a half bottles in the time it used to take to use one bottle, because they decreased the amount of flavoring they are using in the product. As a result, I can no longer recommend this product. It was a five star product for many years but, at this new lower-level of flavor and much higher price, it isn't worth using. I am now adding vanilla extract to my coffee, putting it into the coffee grounds themselves, just a few drops, and adding non-nutritive sweetener for the missing sweetness. It is working very well and costs so much less. Good luck finding the product that will work best for you. I do hope that they will eventually return to using natural vanilla extract in their product and return to that nice, intense, vanilla flavor this product used to have.

Check your back label! On all 4 bottles I received 2/18/15 the back label says 'Vanilla Syrup" and the first ingredient is Pure cane sugar. Listed under the nutrition facts: Sugar 20g. The front label is the same as pictured for sugar free vanilla syrup. I don't know what kind of syrup is in the bottle, regular or sugar free. I've notified Amazon and Torani of the problem via email. Update: Torani took my email very seriously and investigated using the lot number I provided. Turns out my bottles were in fact sugar free, but just the same, they made sure I received bottles with the correct labeling. Great customer service and a great product!

Got the sugar free set. I'm on keto and use these to add flavor to my tea, noatmeal, golden milk, ice cream and so much more! My local store sells the smaller bottles, but they are $5. This was a much better price with the subscribe and save. Bottles are made of plastic and do not have the poor spout on top, but for the price I don't really care about that. It came with SF chocolate, SF vanilla, SF hazelnut and SF Caramel. All delicious!

I have ordered this case of four syrups several times before from this listing and I just ordered again, as I had opened my last bottle. I love this stuff and never want to run out. What I received this time was a case of four bottles of WATER! The tops are sealed with the Torani foil seal and have the safety cardboard insert, but the labels are solid white and the contents, by appearance and smell, are just plain water. I'm honestly quite confused. Why does this product exist? The carton claims this is the sugar-free vanilla syrup product I ordered, not water. See photo. The bottle on the left is one of mine from when I ordered last time. The one on the right is one of the bottles I just received and the carton it arrived in. If you get something similar, please know this is NOT the product advertised, which I can't recommend highly enough. I have re-ordered the case and hope I get the correct product this time.

This is excellent for T2 Diabetics switching switching over to the lower carb lifestyle. The flavor doesn't make me miss sugar in my coffee one bit (My favorite is the Sugar Free Vanilla). I followed the keto way of eating, used this instead of sugar or any of the questionable products out there, walked every day, and lost 116 pounds and reversed my T2 Diabetes in under two years (Fasting blood sugars went from 400 to 70). I don't eat sugar any more and am fine with it, my coffee has great flavor and I'm happy.

Flavor Name: Sugar Free Hazelnut

If you’ve ever purchased the smaller 12 ounce bottles of this hazelnut syrup, you know it has a distinct hazelnut taste and aroma. You can smell the nutty deliciousness as soon as you open the top. For some reason, the larger bottles don’t taste nutty. They’re sweet but not nutty. It almost reminds me of the Smore‘s flavor, also sweet, but an indistinct flavor. I’ve been buying these larger bottles for over a year now, and became aware that something might be a little off with the flavoring, so I finally did a side-by-side taste test with the smaller 12 ounce bottles that I buy from the local grocery store. I didn’t realize what a huge difference it is. I won’t be buying these again from Amazon, I need to either buy them locally, or directly from Torani, if that’s an option. If you’re looking for a hazelnut syrup, don’t buy this larger size bottle, you’ll be very disappointed.
