TL;DR: Assembly can be a bit of a pain, but amazing desk once you get it right. Just the right size to fit everything I need on it without feeling crammed. If you're looking for a large desk, you won't be disappointed. As you may have seen from other reviews, the assembly process can be a bit wonky. As people have suggested, I followed the instructions very carefully, not tightening screws until it indicated that I should. Despite my best attempts, however, I could not get the boards to align properly after three tries. I finally gave up and called my brother to hold the boards aligned while I tightened the screws. That ended up doing the trick for me. PROS: - Absolutely can't beat the price for what you get, and for a standard non-L-shaped desk, it's about the biggest size you can find on Amazon. - Really good depth, and the two grommets for cable management are great. - Very stable once you get everything set up. Doesn't shake at all, even if I try to force it. Was worried about the top not being one piece, but everything is holding up great. - The cup holder, for those that want to use it, seems a bit unstable for smaller cans at first glance, but it seems to hold a can of Red Bull just fine without it falling out based on my quick testing. - In the end I decided that I didn't need a cup holder, but the headphone holder works great and it's nice to have the option to install either of these depending on your needs. CONS: - Assembly can range from slightly difficult to impossible to get right if you're doing it alone. Not sure why it ended up being so difficult for me despite triple-checking steps and alignment from all angles. No fault to the instructions at all, just that aligning things properly while tightening screws just doesn't really work even if you're using all four limbs. Get one side right and the other side somehow goes out of alignment. Do yourself a favor and have someone help for that step. - Boards can smudge and collect fingerprints easily compared to other materials. It doesn't really bother me at all, but I figure it's worth mentioning. ... show more

    • Finally, a desk big enough for 32" monitors, but with structural issues.

I've always wanted to have a 32" monitor for the big scale it brings, but I could never find a desk that was deep enough to properly have one, until now. I can fit my 32" on it and still have around 3" - 4" of room to spare. There are a couple minor annoyances, but I don't think it can really help, given the construction of the desk. I like to use clip-on keyboard trays, and while this one (thankfully) has enough room for the clamps, there is a structural metal bar just beyond the edge of the underside of the desk. My mouse and keyboard can clear this bar, but there isn't any room for me to reach under and use my mouse. If I want to click on something, I have to pull the whole keyboard out. The metal structural bar also wraps around the sides of the desk as well, which doesn't allow my headphone holder to clip on, unless I move it sideways. So be wary if you plan on mounting anything onto the sides of the desk. Assembly was super easy. Thankfully my desk didn't have any mis-aligned pieces like others have reported. I initially did have a gap when I screwed in the middle piece like others said, but I unscrewed it and pushed the two pieces together and held it while I screwed in a couple screws, and the gap was eliminated. I'm not that big of a fan of the 3-piece desktop on desks like these, but it does save on space and come in a much smaller box. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the desk. It can fit the monitors I want, and it seems very sturdy. Typing on my keyboard doesn't jiggle the monitor around or anything. Definitely recommend if you've been looking for a deep desk for larger monitors like I have been. Edit: 2024 Update: So I still like the desk, and it beats all other alternatives out there, but I've noticed that the desk sinks in the middle because it does not have enough structural support underneath. I move my desk around from time to time, and might have my monitor on the left crease in the desk, or the right crease or smack dab in the middle. The only 'level' place on the desk is in the middle. If I put my monitor on either of the two creases, I can clearly see some heavy sag leaning one way or the other. So make sure that your monitor has the ability to rotate to compensate for any leaning. ... show more

This desk is really a 4.5/5 stars. I am a pc gamer with a small room and a larger monitor setup. I upgraded from a 24” deep L shaped desk. My office is quite small in terms of space. I was really looking for a desk that was deep. This desk ended up being a really great choice. My 43” LG C3 is finally at the right distance from me. I was skeptical about it at first but have absolutely no regrets. I love the way my setup looks now. The carbon fiber design has a nice feel to it. Assembly was quite easy and the instructions were detailed and well illustrated. My package arrived a day earlier than expected. The packaging did have a few holes in it however there was plenty of styrofoam and nothing was scratched or damaged. I’ve seen much much worse packaging before so this was just okay. The pass through wire/cord holes on each end of the desk are really cool too. This way you can fit the desk flush against the wall and save room, which helped with my situation. The only thing is the middle panel sat slightly higher than the other two big panels. I ended up finding a few rubber washers from a hardware store cheap and was able to make all the panels sit level together. All in all, I am happy with the end result and I would buy this again. I was skeptical at first because there wasn’t much out there about the desk, but it was a win for me. ... show more
