After one day this seems like a very sturdy set of standing desk legs. It seems to work quite well, is smooth, and doesn't appear to struggle with my heavy desk. If you manage to get thru the installation, you'll probably be fine. However, the instruction guide was severely lacking: a few diagrams with brief descriptions, but many of the parts are not shown, nor are they explained in the guide. For example, you'll see something about toggling the gyro off/on in the manual, but no other mention of it. What is it? Why would I want to toggle it on/off? Read on. After assembling mine and adapting a desk to use, the "up" movement stopped after a couple of inches. It turns out that the gyro is pretty sensitive to its horizontal position. In my case, the gyro thought either the desk was running into an obstacle, or it was not level. Note that the controller should be mounted horizontally. The fix was easy (except looking for the simple solution wasn't): just hold the button on the side of the control unit until the light blinks twice and turns off. That turns the gyro off, and after that, all is well. Another gripe is that the instructions to mount the power brick, controller, and cabling says, in effect, "do what you want to make the cables work," with no tips or advice. There are several anchors that come with the unit that are very useful, but I was wondering what the large velcro thing was for (I used it to fasten the power brick to the underside of the desk). A somewhat minor nit: if you lose power, you must do a manual reset. After that, if your controller thinks the desk is running into something (or is not level - see above/gyro), you have to crawl under the desk to press the magic button so that the lift works properly again. Word to the wise - you may want to ensure you mount the controller so that you have easy access to the magic button! So keep the manual just in case you forget how to reset, etc., but you can pretty much ignore it and watch a YouTube video to install this. Trust me, you'll be much happier! ... show more

My Desk only last for little longer than 1 year before it completely broke. The desk can't even go up or down leave me only with one height choice and a E-5 error. I tried everything online hoping to fix it but nothing worked. Right now I am trying to contact their customer service to see what solution do they offer. UPDATE: I managed to get a complete refund of the table. Although the process of negotiation was somewhat complicated and i had to send some videos as evidence, they eventually managed to give me a complete refund of the table frame. It was not a perfect experience, however, i do find the customer service replied fast enough and offered me a decent solution. ... show more

7/10/23 | Initial Review I had the older version of this desk frame and LOVED it. It is sturdy, at height it was sturdy enough that I wasn't worried about a failure or instability issue if somebody leaned on it the wrong way. This new version is much faster than the old version, has a much higher weight capacity, and is clearly superior in that regard. It shares the same top rail and side mounts as the older version, which was a big selling point for me! I have a larger 74x30" Acacia butcher block countertop I finished. It's stout, weighty & looks great. And I didn't want to change the mounting pattern by drilling and using new/more threaded inserts. I was able to swap my top over to the "upgraded" frame without issue... And that's when my disappointment started to set in. This thing is downright sketchy! The bases/feet are not as sturdy as the older version is. Side to side motion isn't an issue, so support between the legs isn't what's lacking here. The mounting plate for the uprights to the feet is much more flexible, and front to back motion is very exaggerated. I "sit" at 28.6", and with a pinky finger I cause the desk to death wobble. At first, I thought I had forgotten to tighten then 4 bolts holding the feet to the legs. I took everything off my desk... again,... flipped this behemoth on it's top, retrieved my trusty M5 Allen key only to discover that.. they were all tight. Not good... not good at all. The base itself is not strong enough to maintain stability when the table is in use. At standing height, it's almost unbearable to use this desk because simply TYPING is enough to make this desk sway front to back. My cat jumped up like she always does, and immediately got freaked out because the whole desk was shaking. If my cat is freaked out, imagine working at this desk for 8-10 hours like I do. Unfortunately I think Topsky missed the target here and sacrificed a key selling point of their frames, which was stability. And for the increased price point I paid for it, I was not expecting to be making any sacrifices while lightening my wallet even more. I believe the fix would be a redesign of the table legs and feet. Thicker material would certainly help, a larger contact point where it attaches, and gussets. I hope there's a recall on this and they find a solution to the issue, as I'm adding my concerns to the others on here. I'm also reaching out to support, and will update this review depending on how that goes. The previous design did not have these issues and I *highly recommend* that frame. Not this new one. I will not purchase this one again. I won't use it at standing height, either. ... show more

Made a home mega desk setup with a huge island butcher block that measured 1.5'' thick, 74'' wide, and 39'' DEEP. This is a very big top, and heavy. Was worried with the instructions stating that the max dimensions it would support was smaller than this, but with a 300lb capacity, I didnt see why it wouldnt work. It took my whole setup without problem! I laid on top of it WITH all the underwiring, speakers, 49'' monitor, etc and it STILL lifted everything (though a bit slower). Am very pleased with the quality, install was easy and it's good quality for the price. Very happy. ... show more

All high quality components, and highly recommend it. Comes with everything you need to build a desk. Once built it has very minimal sway at the tallest setting even with the +200 lbs load I have on it. The only thing I would recommend is buy m6x1.0 threaded wood inserts at the same time for mounting the table top. It comes with both wood screws and m6x1.0 machine screws but obviously no inserts. ... show more
