I had my first work convention in Las Vegas and needed some kind of folder for collecting pamphlets, taking notes, handing out business cards etc. But I'm not a lawyer and I've never been a black suit and tie kinda gal. I worried about the gold glitter color being unprofessional, so I ordered this one and the black one as well. Both came neatly packaged in plastic, with a thoughtful tissue paper under the magnet so it wasn't stuck to itself. The thing is a bit heavy because it is very good quality. There are no strings hanging out of the stitching and the fabric feels thick and durable! The shiny glittery top is SO PRETTY - imagine a super sparkly glittery car you've seen, it's that kind of sparkle! But it's not a high gloss finish either, so I decided to just go for it and go with this one! The black one was gorgeous as well, with a matte yellow gold finish, it would be very professional but fashionable for another lady! the magnet clasp is strong and made it easy to quickly shut my case while walking around. The clip held my B5 size planning pad securely (not included) but a regular 8.5"x11 pad would've been fine too. The elastic for your pens in the middle is thoughtful. The larger flat pocket fit my iPhone8 with popsocket, though just barely (I have a iphone6 in my photo for size). The card holder held many of my business cards and the thumb hole was so cleaver, easy to slide out a card! The credit card style slots were great cause I could leave my purse at home. The zipper pocket held post it's and other things. The document part is spacious and held the rather thick convention guide, with the thoughtful snap strap making sure it didn't fly out as I bent the folder back to write on. Overall, I might not use this a lot, but it is KOALA-TEE (slang for Quality) and the gold glitter is GORGEOUS. Can't wait to use it again! The features are carefully thought out and executed well, I don't think I could've designed it better myself. The only con is my arms got tired because it does have some weight even without anything in it, but that's what quality gets you! Seems to be somewhat resistant to pen marks too!

I have multiple hustles and this single handedly has made a huge difference in organization for me! It's very sleek amd professional. I adore the classic black with just a hint of color for a feminine touch. Plus, it's very affordable. It's not too heavy to carry for long period of time either.

I am a college student and I bought this portfolio to take notes for observations with toddlers. I can’t take my purse into the classrooms and I have to dress professional, meaning lots of dresses and skirts with no pockets to hold my things. This portfolio helps with all of that , plus my note taking! You just have to buy new notepads. I really like all the pockets for the cards and the cash pocket with the zipper. I also like the big side pocket with the clip on button to hold papers, or letters and keep them from falling. I have the I Phone XR with an otter box and it fits exactly in the pocket. If I take my case off it fits better with wiggle room. The magnets work fine, but can sometimes fall lopsided. The reason I gave 4 out of 5 was because I didn’t like the packing. The portfolio came bent on the corners because it came in a box that was exactly the same size as the portfolio, squished in with no bubble wrap or packing pads. Besides that, it works great for my needs and looks professional!

Wow, I was surprised the Toplive portfolio looked so nice; very classy. The website photo of black with gold is as shown - the gold is really a nice soft gold (it is not the "Bling Gold" choice). My photo shows the portfolio closed and full of my "stuff". It holds my MS Surface Pro 7 notebook/with keyboard - I could not believe that! I am so happy. I have ordered a velcro attachable 3 ring binder addition to use with this portfolio as the it is 1" depth. If it works, I will order the soft gold one also (and will send photo to show).
