I’ve heard medical professionals rave for years about Danskos but for me, with high arches and wide feet, they hurt, plus the soles are so unforgiving that it’s like walking on a brick. Skip to now. I spent almost two hours trying on all the podiatrist-recommended footwear, and these new soles and design, fit me great. No more pain in the ball of my foot or heel. This is the best shoe I have bought for someone who is elderly and has both bunion and balance issues. I have since bought 2 more pairs in different colors. Had to add this: I have bought clogs before and they slip or I slip out of them, but not these.

I love these! I’m a new OR nurse and have been searching for good shoes that are actually supportive. These are really nice. They do run small for sure—I’m usually a 7 and the 7.5-8 is snug. They are actually fairly wide and don’t hurt my bunions which the normal style of Danskos cause excruciating pain for. They’re totally different from their normal leather clogs that are just not for those of us with bunions. I love them and will probably buy a second pair. The one negative—they’re HOT. Those holes on the sides do not make them breathable whatsoever. But it’s worth it for a good shoe that actually will fit a wide foot. ... show more
