  • Head Scratcher
I got this for my son for Christmas last year, and he absolutely loves it. He's 5 going on 6, and plays with it every day. The problem is, whatever batteries that were put into this thing are now going dead, and the robot says he's going out of energy and shuts off. I can't figure out where the batteries are located. I opened the back of it where it says usb charging cord, and there aren't any batteries nor is there a cord. I opened its head, no batteries. I unscrewed a part on its side, nothing. I have no clue where this supposed cord is located, nor where batteries should be stored as there isn't a place for them. I don't ever recall even putting batteries into it last year when we purchased it. It's incredible that it has lasted this long. I'm desperate to know how to charge this thing, as my son is devastated that his 'buddy robot' is dying. Someone from TopRace please help! Thank you! ... show more

Grandson enjoyed it. Didn’t last long before he wore it out.

  • Present for grandson
Gave this to my 5 year old grandson after a surgery. He loved it so much. I think he forgot, he had a surgery done. Not sure how long it lasted, but it served the purpose.

  • Fun toy
Gave this as a gift and was the star of the show. Pretty basic as far as actions go. A little confusing to start. Only comes with a few foam discs so keep track!

  • Trouble shooting discs
I got this as a Christmas present for my son. He really liked the disc shooting function. However after playing with it less then an hour it stopped shooting discs. I am debating on trying to return it. However that makes it useless as a Christmas present. My son was excited about it for a while and he would have to wait longer because the company used cheap parts. Edit- It looked like the reason the discs wouldn't shoot us because at times multiple discs would get stuck in the Robot's mouth. The robot shoots them out if it's mouth. If removed it shoots fine. The fact that this happens is still a design flaw. ... show more

  • Loved it, but what’s up with the morbid stories?
I wanted to give this a full five stars because of how cool of a toy it really is, but here’s the deal. I got this for my nephews 4th bday and he most absolutely loved it. He can’t stop playing with it and he takes it everywhere with him, I love that. The biggest downfall of this toy, other than the disc getting jammed and it saying it needed new batteries (super easy fix, un-jam the disc and you’re good to go with the same batteries). Is the bedtime stories... they are super morbid. What kid wants to hear that at any time worst of all at bed time? I thought maybe the next story wouldn’t be like that, but sure enough the next story, talking about death again. I’m like sheesh, let kids just be kids and worry about that when the timing calls for it. I couldn’t believe they did that with a kids toy. That’s the only drawback. Other than that it’s a really cool robot. He loves the copying/voice recorder/playback feature second to the flying discs of course 😅. ... show more
