The quality seems as good as the name brands from big box stores. This was easy to assemble. It comes with drawer liners and organizers. This tool chest has a nice locking system. The metal quality is very good for this price range. The wheels roll and lock. Really like the hooks on the side. You can change the configuration, very versatile. I'm not taking anything away from this box. For what I paid for it and expected I'm satisfied... not disappointed or amazed by what it is. For a hobbyist or for something like an electronics repair shop, leathercrafting, RC cars it's everything it should be and should suffice quite well. For the home mechanic with some higher expectations, it's going to fall short of what you need or want. The boxes are well packaged from the factory and overall, the finish is good. Under heavy use, this isn't going to last a lifetime, but light use as stated above, it will be around for years. The only thing that makes me shake my head is that they added metal corner protectors (for shipping only) at the front of the box, which is a good idea EXCEPT the protectors are made from a much heavier gauge metal than the actual box. This makes the box look like they expect it to be especially flimsy from the start. It really tells the quality of the materials used when they use heavier metal to protect it. My first thought was how bad can this be? Honestly if the corner protectors weren't there or if they were plastic, cardboard, or even the same gauge metal as the box itself, I would have been less skeptical. All in all, its a fair starter box with a fair price.

Bought this for my husband’s birthday gift and it was even nicer than expected! The packaging is exceptional and you can tell they put care into making sure the items don’t get damaged in transit. The toolbox is very heavy, so be careful while unpacking! Hubby loved the size of the box, the durability, how easily the drawers slide in/out, and the built in locking system. The blue color was also very nice! It’s a more muted blue-grey rather than a bright blue like the picture. Bonus: all the drawers came with a liner already and the little in-drawer organizers are perfect for compartmentalizing storage.

This arrived today and I immediately put it together. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of the tool box, the drawer slides, and overall appearance. I really only have two complaints about this box. 1, it comes with a very thin wrench to put the caster wheels on which is great. My issue is the wrench has two different size ends on it which makes sense if both sizes have use for assembling this box. For shipping, the small top toolbox is bolted inside the lower box and you have to remove the bolts from underneath. I assumed the other end of the wrench would fit these bolts but it does not. It appears the other end of this wrench has no purpose for this tool box set. 2, This is my biggest issue with this toolbox. Both the top and bottom boxes lock which is nice, but this is the first toolbox that I have ever bought where the top and bottom boxes use different keys. I would expect this if I had bought them separately but since this is a single set that is sold and shipped together, the key should be the same. This resulted in the first thing I did after assembling this toolbox was I went and spent another $13 to buy a pair of matching locks so I can replace these locks with a pair that uses the same key. This is the reason for 3 stars instead of 5 stars as to me, this is a big oversight for a set. Also, while it does not affect function in any way as it is a cosmetic thing and may not bother most people, there is a side panel which must be removed to be able to remove the smaller box, this panel, while painted red, is NOT the same shade of red as the rest of the tool box. It is a few shades darker. Again, this may not bother most people and honestly once this is in my shop, I likely won’t ever notice but looking it all over during assembly for a review, it’s jumping out at me quite a bit.
