The product arrived in perfect shape and on time. I had no issues tracing out parts and using a small xacto knife to cut out the first layer of material. The only issue i had was trying to cut out the second layer (the red) for a deeper pocket. It is thicker than the black layers and the adhesive is too strong so when pulling the red layer it would not detach from the last black layer so dont try that! A good option would be to have precut or scored sheets for common applications.

I don’t have experience with the other brands out there but this seems as good as it needs to be. For the price it fit my needs exactly (pro audio equipment items in rack mounted drawers). Using fresh razor blades/x-acto/scalpel will yield considerably better results; take your time and it will fit great.

Absolutely love these. Value for money is not very good, but definitely helpful when you want to organize your tools. I used 1 sheet in my klein tools mod box for my electrical tools - I'll use the last 2 sheets for something else but I don't want to waste them (one wrong cut of the foam and they'll never fit). All in all, good to have but not 100% needed unless you're a tool guy with OCD that needs everything organized like a psychopath.

The best toolbox foam on the market!

This toolbox foam turned out to be a really nice upgrade. It cuts cleanly with a sharp blade, so shaping pockets for wrenches, sockets, pliers, and other tools was surprisingly simple. The foam density feels durable - it isn’t spongy or flimsy, and it holds its shape well once cut. The black/red contrast is the best part. As soon as you pull a tool out, the red layer underneath makes that empty spot stand out instantly. It’s a small thing, but it really helps keep track of what you’ve used and what still needs to go back in the drawer. Once everything was laid out, the drawers looked noticeably cleaner and more organized. It gives the setup a professional look while also being functional - no more rattling tools or digging around to find the right piece. If you’re setting up a toolbox or want to upgrade how your drawers are organized, this foam is absolutely worth it. I’m very happy with it and will be ordering more as I finish out the rest of my tool storage.
