I loved Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning from the first time I tried it 5 years ago. It has an excellent complex taste that can be built around or left alone. There is definitely heat present for those who tolerate only mild food. The more of this seasoning that is used, the dish will get hotter before it gets too saturated with taste. I came across a recipe that called for Creole. I’ve never used creole before. My local market was out of creole so I resorted to Amazon. I got the creole and used it right away. I was amazed at the flavor. Good stuff!!!

I put it on everything, even in my mashed potatoes! I bought it here because my local grocer quit carrying it. The best part is that it is a HYUGE container! This will last me a long, long time. I like this on pretty much everything, but my favority is a light sprinkle on a New York strip steak. I take the steak out of the fridge, take it out of the container, pat it dry, sprinkle on some Tony Chacheres, let it come up to room temperature, fire up the grill, cook to medium rare, rest and serve. This is my first attempt at using Creole seasoning so I don't have any other brands to compare it to. It has a good flavor with some spiciness but the spiciness is not too overwhelming.
