This is the same sturdy, well built Tonka truck my 70 yr old brothers had when they were kids! And I’ve bought them for my sons and now for my grandsons! These things last for years! They are so well constructed. It’s really a timeless toy. The 1 1/2 and 3 yr olds like to sit in the back and push themselves in it, facing backwards. I wanted to buy my nephew a Tonka truck like I had when I was a kid. The truck bed is made of metal but the cab is plastic. Not sure why they couldn't make the cab metal as well but I guess they don't make anything like they used to. Overall, it seems pretty durable and I expect it to last for quite a while. We had two of these shipped directly to our young grandsons, who live elsewhere. I chose Amazon packaging so they couldn't see what was inside the box. The gifts arrived within days. They are able to push them around themselves and load the truck with stuff and dump it out! The kids loved them.
