This is a great set of illuminarias. We ordered them to honor those who have gone before us for our Angel Ceremony at our class reunion. The little boxes are 5" square with gold banding. There is a little square that fits inside of them. This helps them stay afloat. They come with a wax candle that is easy to light however once we put them in the water we found the candle slide to the side and some caught on fire. I suggest dripping a little was in the bottom of the box to secure the candle in place. it was a good value for the money. Used these for my son's memorial. Only one caught on fire so I guess that's a plus considering the previous reviews. Can't find much on Amazon that have decent reviews so it's really a hit or miss on any of them. But I was overall pleased with these. Loved everything about these lanterns, highly recommend. The quality was great I was worried they'd resolve & sink and they did not! I bought combo pack of white & golden for the first birthday since my husband passed. These were awful. They tea lights did not stick to the bottom. The sides look like crumpled wax paper with a wrinkled gold foiled edge. It would not even stay in th ex shape of a rectangle. Definitely not biodegradable and useless.
