    • Updated review: Received replacement unit from seller and working great
Updated review: I was contacted by the seller after they saw that I was unable to get the drone to sync and fly. I received a replacement unit and I still had some issues and I relayed my concerns to the seller. They responded to my emails and suggested I try some things to fix the connection issues. The first thing they suggested was to disable the cellular connection on my phone and then connect to the WiFi from the drone. That didn't work and I thought there must be something else wrong I tried to use airplane mode on my phone and that still didn't work. Long story short I have a new iPhone 14 pro and I never could get it to properly connect to either drone even with cellular turned off and airplane mode enabled. I took out my older iPhone 12, installed their flycam software and disabled cellular data on my phone and it connected right away. I setup both phones the same, but the 14 pro doesn't seem to want to connect with the drone when it knows there is no internet connectivity. I can't fault the seller for the problem with my iPhone as I don't have another iPhone 14 pro to test so I can't say if it with the latest iPhone or it's something else. I can say that the seller was very accommodating and they really wanted to help me with resolving the issues I was having with their product. They were always quick to respond to my communications and asked if I wanted to send videos to help troubleshoot the issue. They were very responsive and wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied with the product. I gave them five stars because they were helpful and responsive and they stand behind the product 100 percent. Below is my original review: I downloaded the app to my iPhone 14 pro and my son used his Google Pixel 7 phone and neither one of us was able to sync the drone to either phone. Trying to perform the GPS calibration with the remote control since it wouldn't connect with the phones properly the GPS calibration never finished. I tried in at a park near the house where there was no trees or building in the field and it had weak GPS signal?? Both of our phones had great GPS signal but this drone didn't. On the second outing to try the drone we went to a large soccer field near the top of the hills at 5500 foot elevation still no GPS signal. I suspect the drone is faulty as we tried for over an hour with no luck. ... show more

    • Almost the perfect budget drone!
I absolutely love this drone, and I think it is one of the best bangs for your buck at this price point. No, this is not a DJI Phantom 4, but those also cost almost TEN times as much! I have a lot of experience with drones and absolutely love DJI products, but the issue with those was that there was always that lingering fear that something might go wrong and you would lose or break your $1000+ investment. With this drone, that fear is gone! I obviously do not want to crash it or lose it, but the exponentially lower price would make that easier to swallow, which allows me to fly this and have fun while doing it. I got this primarily for flying, not for video production or still images. I said this was almost the perfect budget drone because I have yet to get the camera working with my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I have very weak signal in my area, but I'm not sure why that would effect the connection, as I thought that it was simply a wifi connection from my phone to the drone. I can successfully connect to the drone via wifi, but then when I open the app, it will never connect and display the camera image. This thing flies amazingly for a sub $200 drone. It is very stable considering it weighs under the 250g limit. This is a great drone for beginners or even more experience users like myself, who just want to fly something for fun without having to worry about losing/crashing it! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. We are having fun trying this drone out. This is our first time owning one and there is a learning curve for sure. This drone has a camera. You have to download an app to your phone and then you can see the images and even control the drone from your phone (there is a setting for that otherwise you use the remote). To save the images you need a SIM card. It does not come with one. The camera itself is nothing special which is the reason I took off one star. The images we have taken so far are all a little grainy. When the camera is pointed straight down, everything it looked at was completely washed out. We were flying this during the golden hours of the even too so it should have been great lighting. The images we took where the camera is point straight out and you can see long distance looked the best, but still not grainy. It is nice that you can move the camera to point in different directions. It’s good for exploring, but not good for actual photography. The remote has a place to attach your phone so you can see the camera images, take pictures or video, change settings, insert flight paths, etc. Flying this drone is not 100% intuitive but it comes with a book of instructions. I think we will just have to play around with it for a while to get used to it. Some features we thought are really fun: you can set the drone to follow you, or you can create a flight path on a map and then send the drone to fly along it. This drone also has an option of setting it to beginner mode which keeps it close so it won’t get away from you. ... show more

This 4K camera drone has many neat features and is pretty sleek and modern looking. My husband has recently begun to learn to fly drones and this has been a great way for him to learn. It comes with its' own carrying case and all of the necessary first accessories. He has had fun playing with this drone and it isn't too terrible to operate. The drone charges pretty quickly too. It has some neat features, but when you're just learning to fly the drone its' self it can be difficult to work everything at once. ... show more
