Right out of the gate, I was very, very happy with the size and the overall look and feel of this bag. I used it for my trip to Singapore and it was sturdy, robust, had a decent number of compartments. I was able to even carry 2x 1.5L water bottles with no problem and the pockets were of good variety for pens, gadgets, general items. The strap withstood my careless throwing of the bag out and about. Choose this 14" for longer trips and even possibly in lieu of a backpack. It's also small enough to fit under the airplane seat so you can access your valuables easily. A great product and will quite possibly purchase another for my buddies.

I'm loving it so far since I got it last week (7/24/2023). This bag is compact, roomy, and it also teaches you NOT to overpack via the "everything, including the kitchen sink" approach of trying to bring just about everything with you. The absolute LAST thing you want to do is lug around something that nearly feels like a military-standard weighted backpack during the current hellacious heatwave we're having when I'm writing this review. The exterior profile is very sleek. Can be worn up front while carrying a camera backpack on your back, though. Depending on my trips since I've had it for a week, my usual go-to carry inside this bag includes: - see-through conair travel pouch/bag for tech (contains Baseus power bank, cables, charger plug, car charger plug, earbuds with charging case, wired earbuds, small LED flashlight) - 24oz bottle to hold any drink (or collapsible umbrella depending on the weather) - pack of wipes - small hand towel - Rugged tablet (8-10 inches depending on outing) - small medicine pack/pouch for my daily meds - pen(s) and/or tablet stylus - Amazon Basics Tablet Stand (fits right next to the rugged tablet in its compartment in the bag) - hearing aid case - 1 emergency 8-piece hearing aid battery pack I also optionally carry: - Olympus TG-6 "pocket" camera and extra battery (with pluggable charger) - passport (as needed) - a folding walking/hiking cane/monopod can be attached to exterior strap Other than the folding cane/monopod - depending on size - everything else will fit inside the sling without it looking bloated. The see-through travel case I mentioned is for TSA when travelling via plane. They like the fact that they can see your electronics in one spot, and that the case is see-through. As mentioned, I use the conair see-through travel organizer - you can also find it here on Amazon. All in all; the tomtoc 14 EDC compact sling bag variant is a solid purchase so far. I will try to re-review after having used it for 6 months or more to see how it will hold up to constant daily use.

Ever since asking a stranger wearing a TomToc and him giving it his two thumbs of approval I had this brand on my radar for my next bag purchase. I commute into NYC and this keeps my 15" MBP and 12" iPad Pro alongside a coffee cup and other small items comfortably secure. I cannot speak for durability and water resistance just yet since I have only had the bag for a month and water has not touched it yet. But based on the look of it, fabric is tough and had a quality feeling. Upset it's not cordura but comes pretty close. Don't hesitate to purchase.

I use this bag as my EDC for going back and forth to work and when I travel. It holds a surprising amount considering its small profile and size. I am able to fit my 14" MacBook Pro, my 11" iPad Pro, a 22 oz water bottle, all my charging cables and power brick, pens, wallet, passport, with enough room left over to fit my stethoscope, pill box, chapstick, keys, and if I'm really in a bind I can stuff a light jacket into it, but that makes it a tight fit. The buckles and straps are very heavy duty and I'm confident in carrying my electronics around in them. The material is thick and rugged and doesn't seem like it will wear easily and it is water resistant in a light rain. The zippers seem heavy duty and they zip and unzip easily and don't snag or get hung up. Overall, this is an awesome EDC bag. Think I may pick up the smaller version for running around town.

I had a semi impromptu trip a couple months ago and due to new rules the roller bag I bought prior to covid for travel was now too big to be a carry on. I figured I would use my backpack as a carry on, but needed something for my random electronics/meds I might need on the flight and didn't want to spend a ton of money. Since I was using my backpack as a 'suitcase', being able to carry my laptop in the under seat bag wasn't necessary, but a huge plus. I had heard some good things about Tomtoc and it was inexpensive compared to just about everything else. I was very surprised to see the quality of the bag and the sheer amount of pockets in such a small bag. I was easily able to fit my MacBook, iPad, Switch, business cards, wall charger, battery pack, and all cables pretty easily. At the end of my trip I also added a couple stuffed animals for my kids. And the bag VERY easily fit under the plane seat. One thing to note. I was also able to fit a Lenovo T14 in the bag, although the velcro strap to keep it in place wouldn't fit over that laptop. It zipped and everything, just wasn't quite as secure. It's a great bag I would buy over and over again if I had to.

Compact design but very versatile. This is my favorite new bag for carrying my laptop. Laptop has to be slim and small. I have a Lenovo T460s and it barely fits. I love the pocket layout inside. Plenty of room for all my needs. The padding on the shoulder strap and back are comfortable. It protects quite good as well, I have dropped it twice and my computer showed no signs of damage. My only complaint is that the adjustable strap slides too easily. I like being able to adjust it, but I would prefer a way to make it stay in place better.
