First off, the overall fit of these is great. Snug without being tight. I chuckle every time I read about cycling “rediscovering” laces. In the old days, laces were all we had. They give you the ability to adjust the fit at six points, which makes them fit your foot perfectly. Soles are stiff enough fir me even if they’re not space-age carbon. The knit tops make them light and make them breathe. Downside? Each shoe is two ounces heavier than my Giro knit tops. Weight junkies don’t want to hear that. Personally, I have a number of pounds around my midriff I’d rather lose than the two ounces I get in each shoe. Great value. They have replaced a pair of BOA synthetic tops and saved me money in the process. ... show more

First the shoes fit well and seem to be sturdy. My 1 star is due to the fact that the SPD clip for is extremely frustrating to clip into the MYXfitness bike. Its my first time using SPD clips but I imagine the problem is that the SPD clips on the shoe are too recessed into the sole of the shoe to make clipping into the hooks on the pedal intuitive. I have to actually clip the shoes in with my hands and maneuver my feet into the already clipped shoes. Either they must make the SPD clip jut out more or MYXFitness has to make the guiding hook on pedal bigger. Until then, this shoe is useless for the MyxFitness bike and i regret buying these. ... show more

Even though I bought a Size 10 (US) but I am a Size 9.5 (US), these were a great fit (note..9.5 not available). I was hesitant to get a laced shoe as I saw most Cycling Shoes were strapped but the laces can be "hidden" via the elastic strap to prevent them from being loose while on the bike. I’ve struggled to find cycling shoes that would breathe, not squeeze the life out of my toes, and accommodate a flat foot. Over the last year, I have transitioned to minimalist zero drop shoes with wide toe boxes and cycling shoes just aren’t made for my kind of foot. The footbed of these shoes have a decent arch built in (not just an insert that can be pulled out). I liked the knit uppers. Overall not bad for what they are supposed to be, but not exactly a good fit for me ... show more

    • Decent indoor cycling shoes for large feet. Horrible Delta Cleats.

Shoes fit well and are very comfortable and breathable. They come in Size 14 where many cycling shoes stop way before. Laces aren't a problem when riding indoors (Peloton Bike Plus user here). The issue is the preistalled delta cleats. They're made of an awful plastic, and after one week of riding have grinded away to a scary and dangerous amount of float. Think 2008 3D Printer quality plastic. I ended up replacing them with the same cleats Peloton uses. Have had no issues since, and the install was easy. Save the money and get the base shoe and find a respected pair of cleats. ... show more

Comfort ! I ride 35 miles at a time and love these shoes. I ride in south Florida and the open mesh is great for helping to keep feet cool while riding. The fit is true to USA shoe size. I like the fact that these have laces and nothing to break 35 miles out in the middle of no where like some of the other name brand shoes have. These come with a extra set of shoe strings also. There is a small strap that holds your laces against the tongue so they do not get stuck in the pedals or chain. ... show more
