  • Fantastic first bike shoe
Size: 11 Color: Knit Quick Lace - Delta
Purchased these to use with the Peloton. These are perfect for indoor use. I've only done up to 30-minute rides, but they've been very comfortable so far. The only caveats I'd add are the following: - The size 11 are approx. 1/2 too big, however the boa system locks the foot on the shoe and I have no slippage while riding. That said, once I need another pair, I'll size down to the 1.0.5. - The tongue is a little...sharp(?) or hard-edged on the right shoe. So I need to wear ankle or calf-length socks to prevent it from digging into the front of my ankle. Other than that I think these are fantastic beginner shoes for any indoor cyclist. ... show more

  • Great Spinning Shoes
Size: 14 Color: Knit Quick Lace - Delta
I ordered these instead of the Peloton shoes. I usually wear Sidis or Bontraegers and these fit just like my real road shoes. The BOA system is a little different, but works well. Can’t report on durability since I have only worn them for a few rides, but will report back if needed.

  • Nice Shoe - SIze Chart issues for me
Size: 10.5 Color: Black - Triple Strap Spd
This seems like a real high quality shoe, construction seems solid, they are light weight, etc. Straps are real solid and tongue is comfortable, bottom is stiff and responsive. I have only a couple of minor comments which caused me to rate 4 instead of 5, but if this is not important to the buyer, then you can consider this a 5 rating. 1) True to fit - I use size 44 shoes and these 10.5s (for which the size chart indicates 44) are considerably larger than my other 4 pairs of size 44. Some sources say 10.5 = 44, others say 10.5 = 45. Some even say size 11 = 44. The inconsistency is significant and annoying. These 10.5s are about what a 10.5 sneaker would be, however, I take 10.5 in a running shoe and 10.0 in a bike shoe which apparently is size 43 for this brand. I have a pair of 43.5 bike shoes that are a size 9 equivalent I don't want to blame this one company who makes a great shoe and will use these in the winter with thick socks - but can someone get the conversion correct? I have had no issues when buying shoes based on the Euro sizes which seem very consistent compared to US sizes. 2) I purchased these with SPD cleats. I should have checked them because they were not torqued nearly enough and the cleat rotated while I was out on my first ride. I would say this is mostly my fault - I should not have assumed the cleats would be installed tight enough and should have checked them. ... show more

  • Good Inexpensive Shoe
Size: 11 Color: Black - Montagna Elite
I've been using these shoes on my commute to work and other road rides for about three weeks. Pros: --The shoe was sized as labeled. I ordered an 11 and it fits well. Not too loose or too tight. --The price is very reasonable. --I was caught in the rain one evening. The shoes did not become waterlogged. They dried in a time frame similar to other shoes I have owned and were not harmed from being soaked. --On rides of 2-3 hours, I have not noticed any "hot spots" or other discomfort. Cons: --I wish the upper just below my ankle was a little more pliable. I suspect it would be uncomfortable if I had to walk much. Since I don't, this is not an issue for me. --The tightening mechanism is similar to the BOA system but not as refined. When first tightening, all the slack is not wound up, requiring additional tightening after wearing a few minutes. But after that, I have noticed no issues. Summary: Cycling shoes can be very expensive. These shoes are a good compromise between quality and price. Based on my experiences so far, I would buy them again. UPDATE: After receiving these shoes, I registered my purchase with the manufacturer. After nearly five months of use, one of the quick laces broke. I sent an email to the support address with pictures. I had a replacement quick lace in four days. Due to the excellent customer support, I am changing my review from four to five stars. ... show more

  • Good until they broke
Size: 13 Color: Ratchet Buckle - Delta Cleat
Liked the shoes until the tightening tab broke under normal use. Now I’m not able to get them very tight. They are functional, just loose. Design could have been more robust.
