These shoes fit true to size, and they are very comfortable! If you are using the Peloton you need to buy delta clips additionally, and they can be installed really easily. My only dislike is that the tongue slips the side when putting them on, easy fix, just a minor annoyance.

Update 4-8-22: I’ve been wearing these consistently for 6 months now. I won’t buy boa spin shoes again. I can’t seem to get them tight enough and waste a lot of energy due to the looseness in the shoe. When I clamp them down tight enough that my foot doesn’t move around, the tongue on the right shoe hurts the top of my foot. I’ve tried moving it around and adjusting it differently but it doesn’t work. Because they boa tightens evenly from toe to ankle, I can’t adjust each section independently. Which creates uneven looseness. The other day my right shoe also kept coming loose in the middle of a ride. Worried that it will happen more frequently going forward. Since I’m on a spin bike I can easily tighten it, but if this happened on a road it could be dangerous. My next shoes will not be boa. That aside, I love how well they breathe and find everything but the boa quite comfortable. I would buy from this company again, but not these shoes. I may have been able to go down a size. Overall these shoes are great. The BOA is wonderful for post ride exercises or stretching or for doing bike boot camps. Easy on easy off. My only complaint is that the toe box is a little too wide. I like wide toe boxes but this is a bit too much and the BOAs are difficult to adjust in one spot. It tends to tighten near the ankle the most and then less as you get farther away from the connector. It’s possible I could have gone down a size and then wouldn’t have an issue. I didn’t know to look for this until I’d already worn them and felt them loose. My suggestion. Is that if they feel loose in the toes, like you can’t tighten them enough, try a size down and see if it helps. It’s too late for me! Haha.

I starting researching options for wider spin shoes after consistently experiencing foot tingling and numbness in my toes with my previous pair of Shimanos. It took me a while to realize what the issue was and once I started looking for wide-fit spin shoes...I realized that it's apparently not a common offering. None of the big spin shoe manufacturers offer wide sizing (from what I could find). SO glad that I came across these lace-up Tommasos after much digging!! They have been a game-changer over the last ~4 months. I find that they stay laced throughout the workout and provide the same amount of stability when clipped into the pedals. One other tip is that I ordered a half-size up versus my last pair and I think that helps with more roominess for the toes. Thankfully all foot issues have been resolved :)

To ride with the Echelon bike The SPD cleats need to be purchased separately. With my pedal, these shoes and the SPD cleats, the left toe of the shoe began wiggling within the pedal clip. I tightened and adjusted all possible options and it did not fix the problem. This has started happening 2.5 months after purchase. It's difficult to tell if it's a problem with the shoes, cleats or pedals but people in the Echelon community are suggesting buying clip in shoes with the cleats imbedded within the sole, not ones that attach to the outer sole like these ones. Window to return has passed.

I read tons of reviews that suggested sizing up. My normal size is usually a womens 9 so I got a 10 and it was way too big. I would suggest sizing up only if you are a half size because when I returned and got the 9 they fit perfectly. They are comfortable and don’t dig into my ankle. The toe box could be a little roomier but they are great quality for the price, considering most cycling shoes run over $100.

I have a wide toe box, and different size feet, which makes it extremely difficult to buy shoes. These are so much more comfortable than others I have had. The only thing I'm not quite liking is the lacing system. I do like the way it laces, verses Velcro or tie, but it needs to have 2 separate lacing systems, in my opinion. They should add a separate lacing mechanism closer to the top of the toes. Overall a good fit.
