I’m a mechanical contractor who does a lot of gas lines , I thought I’d buy this to replace my rigid equipment that has been stolen a couple of times . To begin with when I received it and had to assemble the pieces that didn’t fit , the bolts threads were dinged so the nuts wouldn’t screw on , had to buy new then found out the chain wouldn’t fit in the cinch , the aluminum molding was not checked , so I had to grind it down so the chain would fit . Also trying to tighten the chain with the crank is not as easy as the rigid . It was a really cheap copy but I was in a hurry to get back to my job out of town , ... show more

    • Simple things matter
I don’t understand why they install clamps on pins they are impossible to take off without damaging them. Just put clamps and pins in a parts bag to be installed by customer. Now I have to go to the hardware store to purchase new clamps to use my brand new stand. Update: company sent me new bag of hardware to repair stand legs, all good now that’s why I changed to 5 stars. Thanks ... show more

I wanted something light weight. This is still heavy but lighter than older ones. It makes stable platform which easily adjusts to multiple pipe sizes.
