This little generator is not the most powerful, quiet or pleasant-smelling one you’ll find. Those are the limitations of the 2-stroke motor. But it starts up quickly, is easy to use, and does its job well. I have used it to run a lithium battery charger, and it runs 5 hours or so on a gallon of blended gas. It’s small enough to stow away in my limited space as a van-dweller. It’s relatively lightweight, and for the price is an awesome deal! Yes I could have paid triple the price for one that’s quieter and has a lot more power, but I didn’t need those features, and as an emergency generator, it’s reliable and useful. Me likey!

I bought the generator to provide power on the property in areas that are remote. I use an electric tree limber and circular saw mostly and it provided ample power to both devices for about 4 months and then I noticed the power would drop off when under load and eventually it quit altogether and would not start. I contacted customer service and they sent me troubleshooting instructions with pictures to assist with identifying if the issue could be resolved. It was the coil that went bad and the seller sent me a prepaid shipping label to return the generator and replaced it with a new one. Electronic items go bad, it happens and I didn’t have any problems with that. What made this a 5 star transaction is the way this company handled it.

We bought this to use for a pretty big bounce house, the kind with a blower, albeit not an "industrial" size. the blower is 500W and this generator is about 1000W. It worked great! REMEMBER: open the fuel lead. They say to let it run 5 minutes before connecting your appliance. TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY. Otherwise, you'll have to restart your generator every ten minutes. OIL: buy 2 cycle oil, or go to your gas station and research the substitute which you'll find. But I didn't find dedicated 2 cycle oil at my gas station. Highly recommended.

This generator worked find the one time I used it. (It is quite loud though.). However, upon starting it the second time of use, the pull-cord mechanism broke. Upon taking it apart to try and fix it, it was clearly cheaply made with thin metal and the center bolt was actually glued in place by the factory. I have contacted the company's warranty dept. multiple times to try and get a replacement part. They finally responded once that they'd look into it and then nothing. I contacted them again twice to see what progress they made and they don't respond. Very disappointing. DO NOT BUY - PRODUCT IS CHEAP AND THE COMPANY DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THE WARRANTY.

I needed a generator to charge my battery for my pop up camper and my electric mountain bike battery when I'm camping. I could never understand why the Honda generator with a thousand watt output was $1,000 . I found one similar at a discount hardware store, but still was $700 . When I found this Togo generator on Amazon it was almost unbelievable . I knew what the claims were , but wished I had a moving visual to see what I was ordering . I couldn't find enough reviews about this generator on Amazon, so I went on YouTube. There, I found a product review, that was direct, precise, and to the point. It presented all the basics....plus more. I didn't need any more convincing. I pushed the "buy now" button and I have not been let down since. I just mixed the 2- cycle oil with the gas,put in a little fuel stabilizer and it was up and running on the second pull!!! No exaggeration, this is the best bang for my buck I have EVER purchased. Best value and lightweight portability. Very quiet too. Congratulations to the manufacture! Excellent job!

I like this generator, especially the price, and it's a great generator. It started on the first pull after I added gas and oil(50:1). I just used this for the first time camping! Easy pull start every time, you'll hear it run very smoothly. It powers everything in my camper and then some. I used this to charge my phones, power bank, and rechargeable batteries. It's very quiet but not as quiet as the smaller one. I am happy with this generator.

This generator is fine for resistive loads. Total harmonic distortion measured at 18.3%. Voltage 130 VAC no load, 110VAC full load. Frequency varied 62.5 no load 59 full load after adjustment. It needs improvement. the best and easiest improvement would be a heat shield between the muffler and stator. The engine could not be simpler. The price is right for a simple basic basic generator. The instructions were lacking. No spark plug gap setting. 5 amps is a happy load for this genset.
