Cute idea, but it needs a little adjusting- first, the flowers are really hard to push into the soil. The bottoms are too big and should be shaved off a little so that a child can place them into the soil easily. It’s a struggle for me to get them to stay and stand up and it’s really frustrating for my kids to try to do it. Second, the pruning shears should have a spring or finger grips. Either would made it easier for them to use with one hand because, as of now they can’t use them unless it’s with two hands which is awkward. The whole kit is wooden and the printed details are really cute. I do think it’s a little expensive for what it is though.

This is a cute garden set. My toddler is obsessed with flower and smelling them. She is even really big on pulling the flowers out of my flower beds, so this toy has helped to curb that destruction and avoid the meltdown from being told “no”. I like how vibrant the colors are and how we can use a lot of imaginative play with it. We even talk about how these flowers come from seeds like some of the ones in my flower beds and how some come from bulbs. It’s a great little learning tool for her.

This is a lovely wooden flower set and basket. The pictures make it look bigger, so pay attention to the size. It is a great size for little hands though. The colors and patterns are really pretty and kids like them. They are a flat wood set and are good quality. I would give a 5 star if they were rounded and more life like but I knew what I was getting. Because they are real wood, they will be more durable and last.
