This is a cute & comforting toddler bed that offered a surprisingly easy transition from bed sharing to independent sleep. My daughter has been sleeping in a bassinet next to my bed and then in bed with me since she was born. She’s two and a half now and recently weaned from breastfeeding. I wanted her to feel less scared and less reliant on my body to feel safe during sleep, especially since she needs significantly more sleep than I do and I can’t always be there in bed with her. She was scared of being left in her own room, and I was not ready to have her out of sight after feeling so close each night, so I bought this toddler bed and placed it in our room a short distance from my bed, where we could still see each other. When I opened the box, I was glad to see that the color and look of the bed matched the online images, slightly darker than ivory with sturdy yet cushioned feeling on the upholstered sides. The total pieces include four sides, four brackets, 16 screws & washers, a wrench, and slats connected by Velcro. My daughter was excited to see the pieces because she knew it meant we had a new project, and it was so simple and easy to assemble that she helped me with every step. This gave her a sense of ownership over her new bed, and we decided together where it would go. The first night, I put a mattress on the floor and slept next to her. On the following nights, I would lie next to the bed with my head on the side/center and put my hand on her while she fell asleep. Within two to three days, she fully transitioned from bed-sharing to sleeping in her new bed, including naps. The bed is very soft and close to the floor, making it easy for her to climb in and out and fits a standard crib mattress perfectly, making it more toddler-accessible and cost-effective than a larger bed. I love the scoop design because I can be next to her and read stories and ease her to sleep with either my arms or head inside without feeling too far apart or needing to squeeze myself into the bed. Based on the height, she will be able to use it for a few more years. If she happens to wake up, she will say, “Mama, please come,” and just needs a small kiss or reassuring touch to fall right back asleep, and I can go back to bed. I am surprised and relieved that she has not once asked to get into bed with me since starting to sleep here. I was skeptical about getting any bed since she rejected the crib so much and fully planned to return this if it didn’t work. However, the transition has been smoother than I could have expected, and I am so happy that she loves it and feels cozy. It is sweet to see her growing into the next phase and I’m thankful that my instincts to try this bed have helped with that. I love this nice light grey bed for my 3 year old toddler and so does he! its comfortably wrapped in a cushioned material and saves him from his wild sleep. its a quality bed it does not lift if on a certain side. Its definitely worth the price and was easy to assemble it also comes with velcro planks that lay down under the mattress. Its functioning perfectly, even I jump in there to lay down and im 5'8.

We recently transitioned to a Montessori floor bed and it’s been such a great decision! Having the bed directly on the floor gives our little one more independence, and he loves being able to get in and out of bed by himself. It’s also given him a greater sense of ownership over his sleep space. The low profile feels safe—no worrying about rolling off—and it looks super cute and minimal in his room. The media could not be loaded. I’m so happy with these Toddler Beds! It’s the perfect transition from the crib, and my little ones absolutely love it. The low-to-the-floor design is great for toddlers who are still learning to climb in and out of bed on their own. I feel at ease knowing that if they roll over, they won’t fall too far since the bed is so close to the ground. The guard rails are a fantastic feature.
