I have worn these everyday since I’ve gotten them! They have a soft matte feel. The colors match the product photos perfectly. They have a good grip in my hair (I have collarbone length medium thickness hair but a lot of it). I think these would work well for almost any length or thickness of hair though. This is the second set of clips that I have found on Amazon that work with my thick and unruly hair. I live in a hot climate and on most days it’s essential to be able to get the hair up and off of my neck. I wear it longer just for that purpose. Any hair that is hanging on or near my neck doesn’t work in this climate. My hair is wavy to Carly, super Duper thick and most clips and especially plastic clips slide out of my hair no matter how well I am able to place them. I gave two of them to my daughter who has the same type of hair I do it and it works really well for her hair as well. Although her hair is a little straighter it was it is extraordinarily thick. So to that end I have absolutely nothing bad to say about these clips I put them in my hair once and they stay all day without readjusting or redoing. 😁 ... show more

Color me impressed. I have searched high and low for a hair clip that can handle my hair. I have very long (reaches my lower back when wet) very thick hair. Most clips I use can't hold all of my hair or will start to sag and fall out after a few minutes. I don't like wearing ponytails, because too low, it gets too hot on my neck too high, I have to use two scrunchies and it gives me a massive headache after an hour. I heard about these clips and figured I didn't have much to lose except a few bucks trying these out. I've had them about two weeks, and the first one I started using is still holding strong. Usually other clips I use start to crack or straight up break after this amount of time. If you're on the fence with these, do yourself a favor and get them. ... show more

I have very straight smooth hair so the typical shiny plastic clips will slip out of place or the hair slides out of the clip. These hold really nicely! They're not too big or too small. I love the matte colors. The brown one is actually a lighter tan that looks very similar to the pink. It looks darker in the photos. These have a slightly rubbery coating and a very strong spring, which add up to them being perfect for my needs. It's hard to find hair claws that are this wide and strong enough to hold up a lot of hair. Highly recommended! It would be great if this company could also make this clip in a jumbo round (octopus-style) design for round buns. I'd buy that one, too. One thing: the colors are weird. I only needed one clip, anyway, but they are only sold in packages of 4. I will use the darkest one and maybe sometimes the green one, but the beige one is a gross color, and I can't imagine any hair that would look good with that pink one in it. ... show more

They look and feel great! The black clip takes a little more force to open but thats me just nitpicking. I couldn’t find big clips for the large amount of hair that I have and these will work perfect!
