  • Important NOTE-- This set works on the principle of Left Front and Right Rear, which means the left lever controls front wheel brake, while the right lever controls rear wheel brake. The position of front and rear brake operation may vary due to different people or regions. You may switch the brake cable based on your actual needs. (Using a wrentch and a plier to disassemble the brake cable and swap the sides. There might be small amount of oil leakage, but it doesn't affect the usage.)
  • Installation Instructions-- Make sure the calipers and pads correctly fitted to the hub and aligned with the disc. Adjust the clearance and fine tune the brake adjustment screws to ensure good braking without clicking. Exhaust the hydraulic disc brake system to maintain optimum performance. Pull the brake handle to test if the brakes are contacting the disc to make sure the braking effect is normal. (Kindly contact us to send you the user manual.   • Upgraded Ceramic Brake Pads-- The ceramic brake pads will not damage the disc, and further improves the braking effect. Please remove the caliper protection sheet before installation. 1. If you have ridden fewer than 300 km on your bike, the brakes are not yet fully ridden in. In this case it is very probable that the noises will go away themselves if you ride more. 2. A common cause for squeaking disc brakes are dirty brake rotors. To clean them, take the wheels out and clean the rotors thoroughly with water or a special cleaner from a good bike shop. 3. Check if all bolts and screws connecting the hub body to the brake rotor are correctly tightened. Was actually great, went a little short but I rerouted it and it worked great. Then I had to return it since my bike motor got fried and I didn’t want to deal with it. (MOTOR FRIED BECAUSE I TRIED TO FIX THE REAR TIRE NOT BECAUSE OF THE BRAKE)

I am giving this five stars as the quality is very good and the bolted on and fit perfectly. They have tremendous stopping power and make no noise. They are a great value! However, the hoses are too short to fit any of our e-bikes. The hoses can't be routed out of the way. It is my fault that I did not measure the old ones first. I will try to find longer lines as the brakes and rotors work perfectly and vastly improve the stopping of the bike. Also, be aware that they do not have the safety switch that shuts off the motor when you apply the brakes. ... show more

Honestly much happier with quality and ease of install. For the price of these, it has incredible value. I decided to upgrade my son’s 24” bike with these. I bought the kit that came with rotors but ended up leaving the existing rotors. It was a direct fit with no modifications needed. The kit felt solid after install, so bleeding doesn’t seem necessary yet. I only took off 1 star because the bleeding nipple seems to be different than other kits. The hoses are long because it’s installed on a kids bike. If I figure out how to shorten the hose, I’ll order another for our electric scooter and electric bike. ... show more

I put these on a little ebike i modded to make a tiny wheelie bike and it had the cable brakes that pretty much didn't work after I hopped it up. These brakes are crazy good, I have never seen bike brakes that worked this good and they are a good price IMO
