- Important NOTE-- This set works on the principle of Left Front and Right Rear, which means the left lever controls front wheel brake, while the right lever controls rear wheel brake. The position of front and rear brake operation may vary due to different people or regions. You may switch the brake cable based on your actual needs. (Using a wrentch and a plier to disassemble the brake cable and swap the sides. There might be small amount of oil leakage, but it doesn't affect the usage.)
- Installation Instructions-- Make sure the calipers and pads correctly fitted to the hub and aligned with the disc. Adjust the clearance and fine tune the brake adjustment screws to ensure good braking without clicking. Exhaust the hydraulic disc brake system to maintain optimum performance. Pull the brake handle to test if the brakes are contacting the disc to make sure the braking effect is normal. (Kindly contact us to send you the user manual. - Upgraded Ceramic Brake Pads-- The ceramic brake pads will not damage the disc, and further improves the braking effect. Please remove the caliper protection sheet before installation. Ordered the upgraded hydraulic kit and they arrived the next day! The kit included 2 160mm rotors and all the mounting hardware needed . The brakes came in a sealed box and packaged nicely, no scratches how other reviews say. The left brake is for the front and the right is for the rear. The brakes come pre bled and already assembled ready to mount and honestly was pretty simple to install . So far for 60$ they seem great we’ll see how they last . Nice brakes for the price and quality 👍🏼

Retired auto mechanic here. This brake system bolted up perfectly. They seem to work well but haven't ridden the bike much yet. One warning: The caliper bracket bolts are intentionally left loose for aligning the disk between the pads when installing the wheels. They need tightening after installing the wheels. Considering the low cost, I'd recommend gradual experimentation with them before dangerous downhill grades.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This kit is fantastic! It includes everything you need. I had a cross threaded frame bar and boom the kit had it! I needed an extra screw... Kit had it with loctite blue already on it! This thing even has new rotors! I left mine on as they were still in great shape. I retrofitted these to my 80 pound homemade ebike and my braking power went from totally dangerous to really good just replacing my front brakes. The braking was so good I also replaced the rear brakes and now I can stop really confidently now! It's really a massive improvement over my friction brakes with disc rotors. It comes with loads of spacers to fit a cast number of applications. I had to put the bike on a stand to be able to spin the wheels and tweak the brakes to get everything dialed in without rubbing/squeeking I've been learning a great deal about bikes with my ebike conversion but if you need to I doubt a bike shop would charge that much to install as it is such an easy conversion. Definitely worth the upgrade!

Fits my kids MacFox E-bike REALLY well and was a fraction of the price of other options. Rotors aren't needed, the calipers bolt right onto the existing mounting locations. The installation instructions aren't very good, but if you think you can figure it out, you'll be able to make them work.
