it does feel as 100% cotton.. its nice and fluffy. My toddler likes how fluffy and fresh my bed is and i wanted something similar for her. She still sleeps in her crib but this fits her crib. only downfall its fitted from one end.. both bedspread and sheet assuming this is to go around mattress, it creates an issue for me. wish it didnt have the elastic on one end. not a deal braker for me. other than that i do like it and recommend it. ... show more

We really don’t want our kids sleeping on cheap microfiber , this is cotton , soft and breathable. She has been sleeping in her own bed all night since it arrived and it washed very well in the machine. The comforter is a great winter , fall comforter. The sheets and comforter may not be the softest, but is still a good purchase. I use a different fitted sheet than the one it came with. My daughter use to never sleep with a blanket and moved all around in the bed. Now that we use this set, she stays tucked in and sleeps a lot better. We love it! The sheets have that wrinkly fabric after washing and are not very soft. The comforter looks great and has the side elastic bands that help keep it in place. Overall, I think it was a good value.
