I do boxing training and these weighed gloves are perfect for working the heavy bag. They provide additional resistance which can be immediately felt in the scapula. (Shoulder blade) If you're trying to gain hand speed I definitely recommend these gloves. Also, if you have thick forearms these weighted gloves may feel snug to you. These gloves are good for the price and just what I needed for a good workout with weights, actually wish it was even heavier, but it's still good. The only thing is (and this not a knock on the gloves since this is how a boxing glove is), I wish they made an MMA glove of this weight or heavier that allows you to still use your fingers! Without the use of fingers, you'll need someone to help you lock down the velcro strap, I feel handicapped. I end up using the gloves without locking it down with the velcro since I'm just using the gloves for the exercise and don't mind it being loose. ... show more

They work really well. The foam needs to break in at first so they destroy your knuckles first couple times, once they’re broken in they’re fine. Makes a huge difference in conditioning and speed.

Wish the wrist straps were a little longer, Does not tied around my wrist. I have to remove one of the weight to be able to strap it around my wrist. Otherwise the quality of the glove is very good.
