By far my third Tissot and once again I wasnt disapointed at all. Everything about this watch is awesome, the design, the clasp, the dials, the vessel. Tissot remais as one of my favorite brands to me, swiss made which is great, you cant never go wrong with swiss. You can wear this watch for an informal meeting or for a high class dinner, doesnt matter. Keeps the time accurate. This is an incredible watch. Most accurate watch I have ever owned. I set it the day I received it and used the hacking second hand to match my computer clock which is automatically set to the atomic clock. After 9 days I am only 15 seconds fast. That is less than 2 seconds a day fast. (+1.66666666667) this is well within the COSC chronometer standard. ... show more

Updated to my original review: So disappointed in this watch!!! After 2 years it gains 5 minutes every hour and watch repair shop tells me it’s got plastic interior. Avoid Tissot. Paid over $750 for watch plus repairs…now it’s in the trash. This Tissot Seastar 1000 Automatic Watch is 5-Star all the way. I love the look, and accuracy of the timepiece and am always impressed with Tissot watches!! But the band that came with mine was either defective or just plain poorly designed. I'm thinking that it was defective because no other reviews mentioned the problems that I had. At first I thought maybe it was just stiff and difficult to close, but after two weeks it continued to be more difficult to close every day. I finally sent the watch back and replaced it with the same model different band. It literally took two people to get this band to snap closed. Opening was no problem. I just got my replacement with a traditional band and am loving it!! ... show more

Will use this watch for diving come this spring...Usually dive off North Carolina coast to review old shipwrecks. I don't saturate dive anymore and wouldn't use this watch for that purpose .However that said,this watch is a fine diver with 300 meter limits..Far more depth than I would need but you never know......also...Gotta hand it to Tissot ,Great affordable watch..... ... show more

I really can’t even tell you how happy I have been with this piece. I bought it as a “beater” to do chores around the house, walk the dogs, etc. The ceramic bezel and sapphire crystal have kept it looking like I just took it out of the box despite heavy wear over the past several months. The Powermatic 80 movement has exceeded my wildest expectations, losing just over a second/day and never more. I was unsure about the fabric strap, but even that too has been a pleasant surprise - it is actually incredibly waterproof. Between the great movement with 80 hour power reserve, ceramic bezel, sapphire crystal, and 300m water resistance, this is by FAR the best value diver at this price point and is comparable to offerings from Oris, Raymond Weil or Longines that are well over twice the price. ... show more

Update - Have had it for 6 months and already having issues with it. It’s supposed to have an 80hr reserve charge, it doesn’t last half a day. I even bought a watch winder for it that keeps it moving all day, yet it still falls back hours, not minutes, HOURS!! I love that watch but this is not acceptable. I’ve emailed the seller, yet to hear from them. Second Tissot, never a disappointment. Great automatic divers watch. Great ceramic finish. Can’t beat the price. Free two day shipping. I’m happier with this purchase than I was with the TAG I bought. ... show more
