I just want to say that I am relatively new to vinyl, so that might be why I have some critiques. I have only used cricut brand vinyl before using this. First of all, this vinyl is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I’ve had such a hard time finding a true rose gold vinyl and this definitely is it! For the critiques, I will say that I found it hard to weed. Pulling back the vinyl was a dream, but the weeding was a little difficult. I found myself poking holes in the backing. I also found that this vinyl might not be the best with thin script/calligraphy fonts because I did have some ripping. Third, it scratches VERY easily, so just be aware of that when you are weeding. I cannot speak to the wear and longevity, but it seemed to stick quite well to a champagne glass that was cleaned with rubbing alcohol. I contemplated buying this, and I am happy that I did, but if you are a beginner like me, I would just be careful and practice a bunch! ... show more

I am honestly very impressed by this Metallic Rose Gold Vinyl, I had read previous comments from other reviews stating negative things but I truly believe that they were just using the wrong cut settings because I had no problems what so ever. I used my Cricut Explore Air 2 to cut the vinyl and changed the dail cut settings between (VINYL & IRON ON) I added a picture for reference incase anyone else is wondering the settings I used. I also really love how thin the vinyl is because once I apply it to my cup it sits super flush and I don’t have to worry about it coming off or lifting. I highly recommend this vinyl if you are looking for something similar to TekWrap but this is much thinner which I love because I don’t have to worry about my vinyl lifting on the edges. I also used low tack transfer tape which was super easy to transfer to cup with no problems. ... show more

    • Expected a better adhesive. Wasted a lot to recut strips & apply Gorilla Gel to adhere to project.

Adhesive backing was poor. First it was hard to work with and it didn't stick well. I decided to remove what I had used and buy another product from another supplied who's project had an easy to remove backing and had a better adhesive.

Can I tell you how gorgeous this vinyl Rose Gold color is? Beautiful! Im using this new vinyl (for the first time)for a current project I’m doing and let me tell you, this vinyl is way better than other brands and more than what I expected. I had no issues using this new vinyl with my cutting machine.There’s no paper backing to it like other brands however, there is a plastic backing instead which makes it a lot easier to weed or gently pull off the vinyl parts that have been cut by your cutting machine. It was nice, clean and fast. It’s definitely a gamer changer for sure. There’s less time spent weeding with this product which is absolutely great. Been looking for a good quality reasonably priced Rosegold permanent vinyl and this is it!!! It's more on the metallic foil side, I cut it using my Cricut Explore Air 2 in the Vynil+ setting and it cut perfectly, I think I can get away with doing it in the regular Vynil setting. This Vynil has a clear backing which was a pleasant surprise and it weeded out like a dream no issues at all (and believe me I struggle personally on that). When applying it to my cup, it was easy as well, I use a mediun tack transfer tape and I had no issues transfering it. So far it is on that cup for good, time will tell how permanent it is! ... show more
