We had originally purchased a different set of the 11ga wire stakes, but they were nowhere near sturdy enough. They bent as soon as we started hammering then in. In Western Oregon, we have some really packed clay soil and it can be sufficient to get through. With the said, these much-thicker rebar-style stakes had no problem going into the ground (I used a smaller, hand-held sledge to pound them in). Our application was to reinforce the bottom of our wire fencing so or dogs couldn't sneak under. I couldn't have asked for a better result - exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend!

These stakes are perfect for anchoring the bottom of a chain link fence which my dog kept pushing out to get under. Guess I fooled him!

Used these to secure the bottom of a chain link fence. My dog cannot slip under the fence any longer. Very sturdy and long enough to stay in the ground. Takes some pounding, and once in, will not pull out. Great product, and received quickly.

I bought these to secure privacy panels to the ground. I had previously bought another brand, and the hook on that one barely went into the ground. It just didn't feel secure, since the hook part wasn't secure and could easily roll around. So I searched for one with a longer hook, and these are much better. I feel like the panels are a lot more secure now. The rebar is super thick and sturdy. I would recommend these stakes.

We use them to hold our dog pen at the campsite. They definitely do MUCH better than the cheap ones that come with standard dog pens. We did bend one but for the most part they are very good for what we need them for.

These are heavy - but they are great for use with tarps and tent guy lines. Nothing moves with these babies. Love them. I bought them for camping, but I think they're going to be handy around the yard and garden too.

Bought these to secure a lawn ornament.Since I live where wind can be a problem I needed something that would really secure my lawn ornament and would last. I gave a few to someond needed to hold the bottom of a chain link fence and they worked well for that also. Would recommend.
