    • The claw chooses who will go and who will stay
Setting it up was pretty easy. Just open the box, lift it out and turn it upside down to insert 6 AA batteries. Once those are in, unscrew the purple top so you can remove the zip ties that hold the claw in place. Replace the top, remove the protective film on the transparent plastic and fill'er up. It does come with a USB cable, however I would recommend using batteries since the cord is short and kids like to move the game around. I like that the sound has three levels: high (which is not obnoxious), low, and off (including the lights - which is a god's send for adults with headaches). The game easily fits on a kid's table, but it needs a little more weight on it to hold it down from some excited kids. The prizes it comes with are cute but there are repeats. However, that isn't a bad thing since siblings typically want what the other has. The claw game is just as challenging as the real thing. The purple coins are a nice touch to make it feel authentic, but my kids soon discovered that a narrow key inserted would trip the switch. Overall, it is a good game, however, just like a real claw machine, the kid's interest in it fades as time goes on. Although, you could load it up with your own small goodies to revive the magic, if the kidos get tired of the unicorns. ... show more

    • The best claw machine!
This the first claw machine I've ordered that has exactly what is shown in the pictures! This is also the first one I've seen that has rings to grab. I love that it's already put together so all you really have to do is pull it out of the box, cut 2 zip ties, put in all the prizes, pop out the coins, plug it in and get to grabbing some cute prizes! I love that the claw has no trouble grabbing any of the prizes. The claw moves side to side, front to back, and up and down with no trouble. I really like the fact that you can turn the music down or off and you can even turn the lights off! This is also the first claw machine I've had that gives you the option to make the game more challenging. There's a button to change how much time you have to get a prize, you can change it to either 90 seconds, 60 seconds, or 30 seconds to get a prize. I also like how you load prizes into the claw machine by simply lifting the lid and dropping them in. The quality of this claw machine is great and it really is a fun toy for any age. I have a 5 and 7 year old who love it and I have a 14 and 15 year old who like to play it too. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Before I get into the pros and cons I'll say this is super cute and fun for my 6 year old. She always loves playing claw machines at the grocery store after shopping with the hopes of winning a prize. When I saw these were a thing I knew I had to get her one. Is it perfect, no but its a child's toy. If you have any specific questions use the ask a question and I should get an email saying someone asked one and I'll try to answer what I can. Pros: * Most importantly It's fun. * Battery 6AA or comes with USB cord (no brick) * Lights up and plays music like a real claw machine * Comes with some simple prizes and coins * Cost / quality Cons: Take this with a grain of salt because it an obvious limitation since a it's a kids toy without special software to control it, but you are the claw. I'm only listing as a con so anyone reading knows what your getting The controls can be a learning curve. You manually HAVE to move the claw up and down and left and right. When you go down to pick something up you have to use the levee to go up, and move it over to the drop area and press down. It does not automatically go back up like a "real" claw machine and back to the beginning to drop the prize. You have to use the levers. Again my child doesn't mind and picked up the concept really quickly. Aside from that "con" this thing is a fantastic novelty toy, I'd say maybe age 6-10 would find this fun.. any older would depend on their "likes" if they like games something like this would be a good room addition. My niece is obsessed with unicorns, so I was excited to get her this claw machine for her just in time for her birthday. She loves it! Although everything is made of plastic, the machine is well-made and sturdy, and it's easy to use. Best thing is you could use 6 AA batteries or just plug it via the included usb cord and even use a power bank to make it portable. The music and lights are fun and engaging, and the prizes are adorable. My daughter has spent hours playing with this machine, and she's always excited to see what new toy she's going to get. I highly recommend this claw machine for any unicorn-loving kid!
