I love my new Timberland hiking boots. These were on my radar for several months before they went on sale, and I snatched them up. I'm so happy with them. I like that they are a very sturdy hiking boot that are comfortable and supportive around the ankle. They are true to size, although they do fit closely around the foot and ankle. If your feet are very wide, I would recommend sizing up half a size. One just can't go wrong with Timberland! ... show more

Bought these boots to hike Zion for a week. Super comfortable and durable. They’ve got about 100 hours of intense hiking on them already and about 200 hours of barn chores at a Minnesota horse farm. Keep your feet warm and dry. They still looK new. Love them except the hooks for lacing the boot around the ankle do not stay in place. Had to constantly stop to tie them. Tried thinner laces, just as bad. I’m going to try a few different laces because I like them so much. However, I had to stop and lace them 6 times today feeding my horses in -20 degree weather and I was not pleased. ... show more

These boots are amazing. Can’t attest to how they’ll hold up over time but they feel amazing out of the box and are true to size. I can see why people are saying they are “narrow”. I usually wear wide shoes and these fit me well though, so they aren’t so narrow as to be an issue for the average foot. They also don’t look manly! Which, as a female hiker, I appreciate. They are classy and comfy. I had been wearing LL bean but their quality has failed in recent years. My boots from them fall apart after 6 months… hopefully these stand the test of time. $90 for these is a great price. ... show more

I like this boot; however, I decided to return it because of insufficient roominess inside, a personal preference. I wear a 7.5M, and the length was perfect, but the boot felt narrower than I prefer for a medium width. I suspect if a person has wide feet it might not work at all, and for some mediums it'd probably be fine, but I personally like a tad more room to wiggle my toes. In the same order I also purchased a Columbia hiking boot, and I liked that the Columbia has a wider sole, which I think will provide more stability for me. But this Timberland boot seems to be excellent quality and could be perfect for someone other than me. ... show more

I bought these boots because of positive reviews saying they are leather; however, they are not. I am so disappointed. The product description itself is not as describe. They are light weight because they are not leather. I am wondering whether they are waterproof as describe. It says weather proof, I have no idea what it meant. Yes! they are comfortable and fit perfectly as size 7.5. The shaft may bother you if you are not used to with ankle boots. The price was thought to be great deal, but not anymore because they are not leather. So disappointed. Check product description carefully, it has to say specific words, so you can get a real deal.
