just arrived. the outside feels like plastic and looks like pu leather... im not certain this thing is real leather. edit: i've carried this thing for awhile. I hate it. cards are super tight. you can fit maybe 4 and they dont slide in and out easily. Real leather would have loosened up by now and it's exactly the same as when it arrived. I had a high quality leather wallet for 14 years before it finally broke on me. I replaced it with this and was moderately satisfied with the design, but after just a couple months, you can really see the wear on the wallet. This will do fine until I can track down a nice wallet that I really like. If you just want a pretty nice wallet that will last you 1-2 years, I'd recommend this one. It looks nice, the design is nice, and Timberland is generally a pretty good brand. But it does not come close to a real cowhide wallet. ... show more

Smaller than expected, but I think that's good since I'm trying to downsize anyway. Dollar bills barely fit without the top edge poking out and there are only a few card slots. Less slots = less junk or space for unused cards. The best thing is the ID window is part of the billfold not a separate flap, so it's less thick as well. Also, my ID is easily viewable and removable, could not say that about my last wallet. Can't speak of the durability yet as I've only had it a couple of days but seems to be of good construction with quality materials. ... show more

This is one of the better wallets I've owned. The slim design means it fits comfortably in your pocket. The card slots are snug and will only hold a small number of items, compared to bulky wallets. The look is great and the craftsmanship is excellent. The only downside for some might be the aforementioned snug card slots. If you have a bunch of credit or business cards, this is not for you. I've had this item for almost 2 years and it is holding up very well. Since it's only a bifold, it is extremely slim. Unfortunately, the downside is that I can't hold many cards in it, but I prefer the slimness over the number of cards I carry. The product will definitely last me a very long time!

Love this wallet. It looks great, stays slim. Only holds the important cards, you cannot overload. I have six plastic cards in the pockets.* Cash, three gift cards and some reciepts are tucked in the bill fold. (*also two band aides, five business cards, three coupons)

This is now my everyday wallet. I tried others, but they were too big, or too small or fall apart. This is one is great ( I know the 3 bears ..) but really, it's great. It carries everything, it's not too thick and it's lasted, not fallen a part and looks great. I would recommend

The product is top notch, i like the feel of real leather on wallet and timberland delivers that perfection to the exact letter. I love timberland products from their jackets, jeans and pretty much their entire clothing line. The wallet is not bulky or thick which for me was a bit of a letdown on some ways, but i do like on how light it feels and durable the materials are. The wallet stitching seems well done on this Timberland product, the sturdy materials gives you the impression that it will last you quite awhile before you have to buy a replacement. I am completely satisfied with my purchase, it doesn't have many pockets to fit in debit/credit cards but it does offer 4 sizeable slot pockets to place your bank cards on the wallet and has window pocket for your ID which is great for many people. ... show more
