  • Surprisingly good for mountain biking
Color: Satin Vapor (Clarion Red Fototec)
I've had these glasses for a couple of months now and wanted to give them a fair and accurate shakedown prior to reviewing them. I think after this amount of time and nearly weekly rides up until this past month, I'm in a position to give my feedback. I was a bit on the fence about the Clarion Red Fototec at first, but find that the slight red tint really helps me pick out the best lines on the trail. It's not red enough that everything looks weird when I take them off, though, so the effect is subtle. Overall, the brightness is reduced just the right amount to make riding comfortable while contrast in the shadows is improved by the subtle red tint. The overall look is a bit... polarizing. No pun intended. I'm not a huge fan of the giant 'windshield' look, but these DO give a great field of view and the frames don't create any distractions around the edges. So, while they may look kind of weird on my face, they do the job well, and for that, I'm going to continue wearing them. ... show more

  • Sweet looking cycling glasses
Color: Blackout (Smoke/Ac Red/Clear)
I'm the guy who has six pairs of sunglasses. One for cycling, one for the Jeep, one for working on stuff... you get it. These sunglasses from Tifosi are alllllmost able to be an everyday pair for me, but they're too edgy for casual wear. As cycling glasses they're amazing. This is my second pair of Tifosi's and they do an excellent job of providing quality at a reasonable price. These glasses don't fog, they darken nicely and are very good in the non-polarized category. Kind of a Nordic style from what I've seen. Very cool. I could seem them being good sports glasses, too, so long as you're not staring into sunset. ... show more

  • Best Yet for Outside Pickleball
Color: Satin Vapor (Clarion Red Fototec)
These have become my go to glasses for pickleball... My eyes see a few shades dark making regular sunglasses impossible. These adjust with UV and even illuminate the ball flight more so... They offer good protection and fit well. Imagine they will fit most sizes very well. I do need to use a defogger wipe. Overall these are by far the best have tried and if they will work well for me imagine they will be great for you as well. ... show more

  • Fantastic Flexible Arms and Nose Piece
Color: Satin Vapor (Clarion Red Fototec)
I've had a few pairs of Tifosi optics and I've come to the conclusion that they make the best moderately priced sports glasses. I mostly use these for singletrack mountain biking, and I find that they work very well for my purpose. Largely, I like them a lot for their flexible arms / temples. The reason I find this so helpful is that when you wear a helmet, the straps and sides of the helmet can get in the way of your sunglass arms. These can contour almost perfectly around any parts of my helmet that might otherwise just push against the glasses as I ride. The nose piece also has similar flexible characteristics and should accommodate everyone easily. Beyond the flexible arms, they make a quality product in general. The frame is tough and the lenses reasonably scratch proof. The lens tinting works pretty quickly, and I haven't found it be an issue even when transitioning quickly between brightly lit areas and shade. It comes with a hard and soft carrying case that works well. Bottom line, these are great glasses for anyone that want's a quality pair but doesn't necessarily want to pay outrageous prices. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Excellent coverage, even fits small faces
Color: Plum Passion (Clarion Deep Purple/Ac Red...
I am a triathlete and am very picky about my sunglasses. I ride a lot, so sunglasses that stay on my head even when I'm very sweaty are important to me. I also like sunglasses that have full coverage for both running and cycling. I am really impressed with these Tifosi sunglasses. I think I owned a pair of Tifosi's a long time ago but since lost them. Although these glasses are quite large, they fit me well and don't slide off at all during runs! They are admittedly a tad large for my face, but I'm not too worried about making a fashion statement. The frame is very lightweight and comfortable. My only small complaint is that since the glasses are quite large, they hit the brim of my hat if I wear a hat when I'm running. But if you don't have a ridiculously small head like I do, this should not be a problem. I have sunglasses that cost way more than these, but honestly I think these are better quality. They come with a case and three sets sets of interchangeable lenses too! I also love the purple frame color. Overall, I am very happy with these glasses. They are comfortable, don't slide off when I'm sweaty, and provide full coverage, AND most importantly, they are very reasonably priced. ... show more

  • Range shades
Color: Sahara (Clarion Gold/Ac Red/Clear)
I do a lot of precision sports and a good pair of glasses is a neccesity. I know these aren't safety glasses, but they do the trick since what I need to worry about is more like blowing sand and dust and bright reflection off the ground. They stay put, dont fog up, and leave lots of room for airflow. The wraparound style really helps when light is coming at you from multiple surfaces and the lenses are awersome. Theses are NOT polarized, but unless you're on the water you'll hardly notice. One purpose for that is if you eed to look at screens, your polarized lenses will make them appear blank. Their lens tech makes for a clear view no matter what. ... show more
