I absolutely love the look of these shoes and they seem like good quality leather. They were stiff when I wore them the first time but I figured they just needed to break in. I wore them last night for the entire night at a concert and I was in extreme pain walking and being on my feet all night. The size was right but my toes felt crushed when walking and the backs of my ankles have blisters. I had a similar experience with a pair of boots. 5 stars for looks, zero stars for comfort.

As many people have commented, it takes a good bit to break these shoes in. And I must admit that after you’ve done it they’re pretty comfortable. However, after a few weeks of wearing these, the souls warm more quickly than they should. I wore these on vacation with my family after breaking them in for a few days. In a week of walking around San Francisco and the Muir Woods they already started to wear badly. What you can’t see from the pictures that he also was wearing very badly. While the leather is quite durable, the rubber and stitching is not. They do fit according to size, but there isn’t a lot of value for the money. Also, they do seem a little bit heavier than I thought they would be. I don’t know what I was expecting, so your mileage may vary. I would strongly recommend avoiding these. I missed the return window by a day because I wasn’t paying attention. I certainly hope that this doesn’t happen to anybody else.

I loved these once I figured out my fit. Recommended size is same as sneaker but that doesn't work for me. I actually went UP half a size to make these work. I actually went into the store in Manhattan to sit down and try on a bunch of their shoes to figure out my sizes. I had previous bough these in a 12 but they never really felt great. Since my trip to their store I am in a 12.5. (Which is the biggest size I have ever worn in ANY shoe in my life!), and I couldn't be happier with these sneakers. So, if you are finding these uncomfortable around the toe box, maybe try that half size up!
