I got this tool to assist with bending my gutters back into shape after a tree hit it. The wide clamp helps keep a consistent bend but I did run into some issues with this tool. The main problem is that the clamp doesn’t open very wide. You can’t get too much material in its grasp. Probably not a typical issues since mostly this clamp will be bending thing gage sheet metal, but I needed to get this tool over a bump in the gutter and it’s small opening wasn’t working the best for me. That said, I was still able to work the dent out well enough. It wasn’t like-new, but it looks a lot better thanks to this tool. I also the this having a lot uses around the house. It’s definitely one of those, “wish you had it” / “you’re glad you had it” - tools. The build quality of this tool is very good. It feels very strong and sturdy. I’d have no concerns if it accidentally dropped it. All in all, I am very pleased.

Great tool for small metal bending. Make a fairly tight bend and it's clean leaving no marks on fascia. The tool feels well made and the handles are easy to get a grip on. It is made loose but that helps with the use of the tool while bending.

Missing key screw for one of the six rollers making it very hard to get a uniform and consistent bend. End guides were frozen and would not turn.

The HONTAITUO hand seamers are not perfect, but they don't need to be. This is not a precision tool, so I am not going to quibble about imperfections in the jaw edges. The jaws match up well enough to bend sheet metal. The only potential negative I saw was a very minor spot of surface rust (circled in red) on the inside of one of the jaws. Easily resolved with a bit of oil after each use, or just keep the tool dry in the first place. Overall, a solid tool with a wider jaw than many.

I used this for straightening bent pieces of metal, and breaking strips off both sheet aluminum and brass. It doesn't have any kind of lock on it to keep it tight. So you have to keep your grip really tight to be able to break anything or straighten any metal and gets really tiring.

I like this tool and for someone that does a bit of sheetmetal fab or repair...... it is a must for your toolbox. I wish I bought one years ago. It is a fairly stout tool...... for what it is. The measuring notches on the ends are more useful than you think.
