    • Great idea, but the poster set won't last

I really wanted to love this. The poster is fine, but the emotion circles are really flimsy. They aren't actually laminated, but are more thick paper with a shinny layer on top. My first thought was that I'm going to have to laminate the emotion circles before this can be used. That's going to require getting the velcro off these flimsy guys without damaging them - ugh. There are positives and negatives to both the poster set and the flip book. I really wanted the poster set to be great as it offers a very in the moment choice for a child to make in identifying their emotion and then moving the arrow to an appropriate solution. That said, I'm probably going to return the poster set and just use the flip book (after I reinforce the heavy paper tabs). Too bad they didn't nicely laminate these products like they did with the "A New Can-Do Mindset for Littles" book. That one is made to hold up! ... show more
