These reading glasses are amazing. The case fits on the back of your cell phone nicely and is about 1/8 of an inch thick, including the glasses. I think the glasses are about 1/16th of an inch thick if that, and super lightweight. They also grip your nose very well and will NOT fall off. I showed my mom and did a short video of me shaking my head vigorously in every direction and they stayed firmly in place, she was impressed too. They are very comfortable, and I tested them reading a pretty small font bible for about 3 hours and they did perfectly. HIGHLY recommended if you are tired of having to use your phone's camera every time you go into a restaurant in order to read the menu. These are very, very well done. They are so thin you can use them as a bookmark, they're worth buying. UPDATE: Still awesome, everyone asks where I got them when I use them. Absolutely fantastic product. Of Note, I've had mine a couple months now and did not experience any of the "easily scratchable" issues I've read of in some of the other reviews. Get the case so you can keep them on your cell phone, trust me. ... show more

    • Convenient and "Stylish" Reading Solution!
Color: Black Case / Black Frames Lens Width: 44.45 Millimeters Magnification Strength: 2 x
ThinOptics Universal Pod Case + Rectangular Reading Glasses are a game-changer for anyone needing a reliable, portable, and "stylish" solution for reading on the go. Stylish in quotes because nobody looks cool using readers...but these are pretty neat and practical: 1. Ultra-Portable Design: These reading glasses are incredibly compact and lightweight, making them perfect for carrying around. The Universal Pod Case is sleek and slim, fitting easily into your pocket, purse, or even attaching to your phone. It ensures you always have your glasses handy whenever you need them. 2. High-Quality Optics: Despite their small size, the ThinOptics glasses offer excellent clarity and comfort. The lenses are crystal clear, providing sharp and accurate vision for reading fine print or working on your phone or tablet. They are available in multiple strengths, ensuring you can find the perfect match for your needs. 3. Durable and Flexible: The glasses are made from durable materials that can withstand everyday wear and tear. The flexible frame conforms to your nose for a comfortable, secure fit without causing pressure or discomfort. They are designed to bend without breaking, offering longevity and reliability. I can usually get over a year out of a pair of these riding on my cellphone every day. 4. Stylish and Modern: The sleek, rectangular design of the glasses and the minimalist Universal Pod Case look modern and stylish. They don’t just serve a practical purpose; they also add a touch of sophistication to your daily accessories. 5. Easy Accessibility: The Universal Pod Case is ingeniously designed for easy access. You can attach it to the back of your phone, making it incredibly convenient to grab your glasses whenever you need them. The adhesive is strong but leaves no residue, ensuring a clean attachment. 6. Versatile Use: Whether you’re reading a menu in a dimly lit restaurant, checking your phone, or working on a document, these glasses are versatile and effective. They eliminate the need to carry bulky reading glasses and cases, providing a compact and efficient alternative. Overall, ThinOptics offers an excellent blend of convenience, durability, and "style." Their innovative design ensures you never have to worry about forgetting your reading glasses again. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a practical and elegant solution to their reading needs! ... show more

    • Handy readers that work well
Color: Black Case / Black Frames Lens Width: 44.45 Millimeters Magnification Strength: 2.5 x
I recently had cataract surgery and don’t need glasses anymore for most situations. However when the print is very small or the lighting is poor I sometimes need readers. I’ve attached the Thin Optics to my cell phone and I never have to bring a pair of reading glasses with me. These glasses work very well and don’t add a lot of bulk to my phone. The optical quality is pretty good, given what they are. My only issue is that they sometimes come out of the case when you reach in your pocket for your phone, but it’s not a big deal. These Thin Optics have really solved a problem for me and I would recommend them. ... show more

    • Pretty amazing, but .....
Color: Black Case / Red Frames Lens Width: 44.45 Millimeters Magnification Strength: 2.5 x
... don't wear them when you are eating! They're great for other close tasks, but if you don't keep your head in line with your body, they will fall off (and into your food - ask me how I know that). Otherwise, I really like them. I was afraid I might lose them, but I always keep their case nearby or in my pocket. That case is so small and lightweight it's easy to keep them with you. These have solved a HUGE problem for me as I can't wear anything that presses against my head behind my ears. I just may eventually order another pair. I can't recall if they come in the strength I need (3.0), but whatever they are, I can now read again! Now I'm curious & will go back to see what strength they are. There are very few reading glass options above 2.50 or 2.75. ... show more

    • Love these!
Color: Black Case / Black Frames Lens Width: 44.45 Millimeters Magnification Strength: 1.5 x
These little specs are so cool! Easy to use and store on the back of my phone. They pop off if you start laughing or talking and your cheeks push them up, but they're great for quick use when reading menus or a book on a plane. Highly recommend!

    • Brilliant idea but……..
Color: White Case / Blue Frames Lens Width: 44.45 Millimeters Magnification Strength: 2 x
They constantly fall off my nose so they are scratched pretty badly now. There is no way to make them tighter. Also one of the nose pieces snapped off so now they are completely unusable . I purchased them after cataract surgery in the spring.

    • Work well
Color: Tropical Holiday Lens Width: 44.45 Millimeters Magnification Strength: 2 x
When I am out and about I perpetually forget to take readers with me, though there is a pair in the car. Found these and keep them in my wallet. Thus far the case and the flexibility of the frames have been successful in not bending or breaking when they are sat upon in the wallet, in my pocket. They work well as generic readers. I personally cannot wear them for long, as by design and function, they pinch lightly on the nose. Perfect for reading labels, menus, etc... I chose the beach themed case and get comments regularly on both the glasses and the case. Recommended! ... show more
