    • These tools work just fine and are a fun color.
I have to admit that I ordered these tools mainly because I like the fun color. Our winters can be very long and gray, so I always like to have colorful things around me so when I saw this set, I thought it would be fun to have them. They are decent quality for the price. They definitely are not made for serious construction work, but for hanging the occasional shelf or measuring a window for curtains. The plastic portions have some rough spots and the torpedo level is not very sturdy. I do like the carrying case, although I don't know where you would take this set that you would need to carry them in a shoulder bag. I will probably end up using the bag to hold something else. This set is fine for occasional casual use, but I would not depend on it for the accuracy needed for serious construction projects. ... show more

The overall functionality of the level set is decent. The levels are really lightweight which I both liked and disliked. It made the set feel cheap but I could see how it would be helpful measuring something on a wall and your arms got tired. However, I don't expect that to happen to the most of us. The second photo shows the level with plastic pieces still left in the level which is nitpicky of me but it made the set overall feel cheap. Those factors contributed to the set losing a star. The levels seem to be what I would call "accurate enough" for most projects. The bubble can vary slightly each time I put it down in the same place, but honestly it's close enough. You're not paying top dollar for the most precise level ever made here. They work really well for the price. And the tape measure is a nice bonus, the lock mechanism works well and as it should. The case is kind of a waste for me, but some may find it useful. I do love how the bright pink color makes them very easy to spot even in the chaos and mess of a construction site. There's nothing in this set that we don't already have, but I love the pink color and have made it known that this one is MINE! I feel like our other tape measures and levels are constantly getting misplaced, lost, or they just blend in with the rest of the tools and are harder to find. But there's no missing the pink in this tools set - it really sticks out and makes what I'm looking for easy to find. The bag is a nice touch, but isn't anything I'll use b/c I don't keep my tools stored in a bag - they are used often enough that it would be pointless. ... show more

Usually when you find a brightly colored variant of equipment like this you tend to expect lower build quality, but that's not the case here. These levels are sturdy and get the job done quite well. We really like the magnets in the smaller two levels as well; being able to hold them in place on a metal surface is going to come in handy. The tape measure is pretty standard, if a bit weaker in the retraction strength compared to other tape measures (holding them by the nub and wiggling them, our other tape measures generally hold still but this one slowly unrolls further). I like that it's double-purpose Metric and Imperial units, though, as most others that we have found are only Imperial. The tape itself is quite a bit shinier than we're used to as well, which could be good or bad depending on the environment - it may make it harder to read through glare in a brightly lit area. The bag has nice little nooks for each tool so they're not just in a jumble in there, which is much appreciated. Overall, this is a competent equipment set and we're glad to have it. ... show more

The first thing I noticed was the color which, I. I ordered this because I do have a lot of tools in the pink shade and this went really well with my tools. The product can’t just be pretty, it also has to be useful and this is very useful. With three different types of levels, I use them for bookshelves and pictures on the wall to make sure that everything looks and feels leveled. I also like that it came with the extra measuring tape which is always handy to have anywhere in the house or on the go. You never know when you need to measure something and so having a portable tape always helps. You get a bag that carries three different levels for any project and a tape measurer. Love the pink color making it easier to spot. Travels great. Levels have a magnet on them to help with hands free if working with metal.
