I thoroughly enjoyed every single thing about these cards from the moment I opened the box in which they came. They are gorgeous. The cards themselves are classic Art Deco in styling and have a really nice feel to them. The design is beautiful on both sides of the cards. The puzzle (yes, 100% there's a puzzle)...so amazing. So satisfying to solve. When I got stuck on level two and my husband had no interest in helping me out, I ordered a box and sent it directly to my brother-in-law and his wife so they could help me figure this out. I ended up figuring out where I was stuck before they got their set, but they were able to help when I got to level four. We both got stuck on different levels and were able to point each other in the right direction without giving anything crucial away. I highly recommend having at least one person to bounce ideas off while solving the puzzle. None of us wanted to search for online hints as we were afraid of inadvertently seeing more than we wanted to see! In the end, we both only needed one hint from each other. You can solve this! Don't give up! And NPH...I'll be waiting for more challenges... ... show more

What a great handling deck. Theory 11 never disappoints with the quality of their decks and one designed with Neil Patrick Harris’ help is no different. Definitely going into my rotation, love the feel and look, the identical jokers is great as it helps a ton with some of what I do. The only negative is no doubt backed card, many Theory 11 cards have it and I expected them to include it here with how beautiful the backs are on these. But that’s easy enough to solve by just buying another deck and using the jokers. The puzzles are extremely fun and challenging. If you ask for help on boards people will give clues but most wont give the answer. I needed a little help for number 3. But it will keep you entertained for a while. ... show more

I have collected over 40 decks over the past year, and this deck is one of my top favorites! I love the design and they are very well made. For some reason, this deck is much easier to do a Faro shuffle with than a lot of my other decks! Now for the built in secret/puzzle. I have not really attempted to solve this so I can’t say much about it. It does add some mystery and intrigue to these playing cards though, and that is definitely not a bad thing. ... show more

Great cards. They are very beautiful, and come with a hidden feature. A puzzle, a cypher, is built into the deck. I have only begun, but am very excited to see if I can figure it out. Matching jokers. Good feel to the cards. They are made of card paper, vs plastic. Plastic are nice for more hand after hand after hand repetitive play These are nice cards, for casual use and for card magic I'm sure. Designed by none other than Doogie Howser M.D. himself, Mr. Patrick Harris, a great magician, who's NPH logo is on the back of each card. Yo, NPH, call me...let's hang sometime! ... show more

    • Great cards, but the seal can't be taken off without ripping the artwork.
The cards are great quality, love them. Minus one star because of manufacturing at Theory11, the stupid sticker seal that rips the case artwork off. I was extremely careful peeling the seal, but it still ripped the artwork off. I have a High Victorian deck too, same issue.

Mind you, these are brought to you by NPH, therefore made with magic in mind, not cardistry. Although the joker is perfect for it. In other words, it has white borders. No bonus ad or magic cards. The design is very elegant and shows his love for his interests, it is details and enjoyable to look at. The tuck itself is detailed and is so inside and out, but the back design varies slightly, from box to cards. Personally speaking, enjoyed the feel and stock of the cards. I prefer borderless as I have been doing less magic and more cardistry, but it's not a big deal as there are things besides fans one can do. It comes with a puzzle inside. Seeing as this deck was initially release 4 years ago, one no longer reveives the prize they used to give out for those who solved the puzzles. However, still fun to do and still a challenge. You will probably have to Google as there are absolutely no obvious hints provided by the deck itself. I had a blast doing the research and work and was worth reaching the end. This was given as a gift to me and I must say, I am not disappointed. Overall, I recommend the deck. Unless you don't like borders, in which case, stay away from this deck. =) ... show more
